Look we are the largest city in St Charles County we have few restaurants, no SAMs Club, Ross, TJ Max, Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Circut City I mean look at St Peters and Wentzville they have lost more that we do maybe we need a change in elected officials so that we can get people who will try and fill these empty buildings on HWY K.

Ofallon is the seventh largest city in Missouri, believe it or not.
You raise a very good question. My guess is that the city of Ofallon has put itself on a pedistal, thinking their shit doesnt stink and overestimating its actual viability for such commercial use that it attempts to demand tax percentages equal to Frontinac,Ladue....etc.when in all actuality it is nothing more than an over populated podunk bulshit town with podunk bullshit politicians running the show, the people in charge are a bunch of good ol' boys who are in way over their heads and cant admit it long enough for anybody to help them (several have tried).
Get ready for a whole lot of vacant buildings ,blighted neighborhoods ,and .....well its like this Ofallon is destined to be what north county is now,its only a matter of time if someone doesnt get through to those in charge who have their heads up their asses causing the misguided belief that this is Frontinac.

Maybe it's not hard to open but rather ofallons location. Think about it, there's an Olive Garden, for example, in St. Peter's- with it's distance to ofallon, is it reasonable to open another so close?

You would think that with our population we wouldn't have to drive out of town to eat. Also what's up with the vacant land over by the post office. You would think that maybe a development or a grocery store on the old side of town.

Ofallon officials are a bunch of greedy rats its hard to do anything in this city. Most cities try to help you get a business started not ofallon bunch of crooks
