Why should the fact your son was in the military grant him the right to speed over any other tax paying citizen? Good for the cop for enforcing the law equally!!

Right... your son was speeding. Military teaches you dicipline, that includes leaving on time for drill and not needing to speed to get there.. Sorry, but honestly your son has no reason for speeding.

Coming from the military area. Everyone in the military is late! They r never on time. Son was in the wrong. Cop shouldn't have been an ahole but, the bottom line. Leave on time, stay to ur discipline, and yes, proud u serve....thankful! Utilize ur time management skills. Remember cops are aholes, and move forward. Lesson learned!

like i said if you took time to read what was written! He never denied he was wrong and excepted his punishment the problem was because the officer asked why he was speeding an he told him he was running late for drill and the officer looked right at him an said dont try using that military stuff with me......All my son did was answer the officers question so why the military comment?

Now it's understandable why the cop acted like he did, a speeder who pulled a military card to try to get out of a ticket- why else would he bother showing it. And his attitude was probably not the most respectful toward the cop- judging by he is your child and your attitude is so poor you should be sent to anger management classes..

I am proud of the officer who chose to enforce the laws and not be bullied into letting a speeder go just because he was in the service.

And anger management isnt the answer, equal rights to everyone and not special treatment for those with more money are because they babysit for your relative are those who are related in some way! You ought to spend your spare time sitting in the ofallon city hall while court is going on you want to talk about how wonderful the elected officials are sit in there six months at every court date you'll get to watch corruption in action! Oh an just some advice dont wear your nice dress slacks ironed and pressed looking very neat if they dont go all the way past your knees theyll make you leave and tell you to go to the thrift store and buy something so your not late,an go ahead an choose the bud light pajama bottoms because thats allowed....

If your son has a fraction of your attitude it's no wonder the cop offered him no courtesy.

In all seriousness, you should seek a good mental health doctor.

If your son had not been speeding, none of this would have happened. And had your son not played the military card in an attempt to get out of it, the cop probably wouldn't have said the things he said.

If you really feel that your son was mistreated, file a complaint with the police department! Talk to elected officials and/ or the media. Right now, you're just making an idiot out of yourself on here.
