She has been around well over a year, St Peters Police cannot do anything about her, even though she obviously has mental issues, she will not let anyone near her, she will start yelling and shaking her first at you. She was hanging out under a bridge embankment on the Service drive between the Mall and White Castle. As far as homeless in our area there is also another that I see, attractive white, late 40ties, or 50ties who had been riding a bicycle with a basket all around town, though lately have seen her walking along Central School Road, and goes into Home Depot for free coffee.
You are exactly right, I see this lady all the time on there service road by White Castle I see her almost every day.

She is not dead.... She is alive and well, I saw her a few weeks ago on the outer road near Long John Silvers. I strongly believe she is Paranoid Schizophrenic. Keep in mind they do occasionally have moments of ludcidness and they have the abilit to hold a conversation. A few years ago she was over by the police station across from Mid Rivers and my daughter and I stoppd to ask if she needed help because she was walking with her pajamas and suit case, we thought maybe she was visiting a family and they put her out. she cursed us out and said we couldn't "f___ ing help her because we were black and if we wanted ot help we could buy her a hotel room and she walked off. I don't view it as there goes the neighborhood I have lived out here for over 15 years... there are homeless people everywehre, On any given day at 5:30 there is someone standing on the Cave Springs exit asking for money. So rather than judge her, pray the laws change related to mental illness, she needs to be hospitilized and given some medicine to regulate the chemical imbalance in her brain.

This "homeless" lady is not so homeless, my friend delivered a pizza to her apartment last week. And the police are saying not to make any contact with her, because she is legally insane.
My wife and I stopped one day for her during last summer when it was pushing the 95 degree mark. We gave her money. At first she said to us that she was not trying to sell anything nor would she be a part of any sexual activity.(Exact words of hers - not sure). I felt she had this wrongfully accused at some point in her life. None the less, she eventually took our money and we were off on our way. Weird thing was, we were not sure if we were in the right for doing so, or in the wrong?

This is not true, she is homeless. Myself and other family members have stopped to help her...She is a bit crazy to say the least...But, she does not drive a car or have an apt. I have called the police about her. Also, have helped her late at night in the pouring rain, and in the horrible heat, always with that heavy coat on... We have followed her somewhat, it is a sad case, and who knows how she got to this point...But a little kindness goes a long way.
???? I just don't see her as a crazy person...no way.

January 8, 2013 She does NOT have a car. She has no relatives. She has no resources. She has been in shelters and then told to leave "her time was up" - she does not want to go back to a shelter because she said a man died there and that she had been abused in shelters. We took her food and paid for a couple of nights at that hotel. We also took her a new suitcase and a pair of shoes and some warm clothing but it still doesn't help when you are in the freezing cold wind. It is so sad. I wish a group could help her. I do not have the resources to fix this. She wants a job in a fast food place or something. Her shoes had holes in the soles all the way thru to her feet and the shoes were way too small. She now has a coat that she can zip and misc. other items. This poor soul needs help. It is pathetic to have a sweet lady standing by the highway just hoping somehow she will find help to get a job. She has no income - you do not qualify if you don't even have an address. A collection for her would help to at least get her into the hotel each night - it costs $56.19 - the hotel is on Veteran's Parkway a couple of doors down from White Castle there at Jungerman. I have talked to her and helped her as best I can. I called City Hall of St. Peters and was told that the police check on her every couple of days and that she doesn't want help. She did accept help from us and was so very cold and thankful. I wish I could take her in but I cannot. Anyone have any ideas? She talks very reasonable and is very appreciative. I don't see anything crazy about her - she is homeless - I cannot even imagine - all alone - no friends or relatives. Someone started talking about another homeless woman on here and now there is some confusion. This lady is NOT crazy and does NOT hang out at Home Depot!!!!! Be careful what you say because it can hurt her - she desperately needs help.

They are talking about another homeless woman. The one with the suitcase has no home. She depends on people to give her money so she can go to a place and spend the night. She has nothing.

Where is the Dodge dealer? Is it close to Jungermann? I haven't seen her all week - thought maybe she was in out of the cold. God help her if she is standing outside.

Someone shared this on his facebook page, so in addition to commenting there, I'd like to get the word out about RETURNING FEMALE VETERANS, with or without PTSD and other mental illnesses, who are being HARRASSED sexually and otherwise AWAY from safe housing. This is a travesty after their serving in the armed forces and struggling with gender bias already, so if you know of any one person or area to help, TRY TO RAISE THIS AWARENESS! It's the least way of thanking, much less honoring the struggling Veteran population.

I bought her dinner and a night in the hotel last night. Her name is Pam and she is very nice. The Shop and Save won't let her come in, so I went in and bought her milk. She gave me the money I had given her to pay for it. I wish there was something we could do more permanently for her.

I bet if some white women tried this trick in St Peters she would last about a day & have been stopped , arrested ,hand cuffed , booked & incarcerated and then who knows whats next for her .Do your selves a favor & go to down town St Louis on any street at any time of the day & night and express all that sorrow you have in you . After about a day down there you may not have any sorrow left to give & may get an education on what sorrow does for some people .

I am new to the area myself and have seen the woman in question. Last month I awoke in a dumpster behind the Mexican Party Supply store off of Muegge after a three week bender that began in Plunt, Georgia. When I had fully come to my senses and realized where I was the first thing I noticed was that she was tattooing a picture of what I can only describe as a morbidly obese Jesus Christ with Down's syndrome and disturbingly large genitals upon my chest. (All in all I've grown fond of the ink these last few weeks) I asked her why she was doing this and her only response was to break wind and shift from foot to foot. It was at this time that I noticed she was wearing my underwear as a bandanna. It looked somewhat charming on her actually, but I don't think I could pull it off. The rest is a blur. I think we may have ate some pharmaceuticals she had in her suitcase and then gone to breakfast where she may have engaged in an altercation with a waitress over her grits being too cold, while I may or may not have discreetly vomited in a coffee pot from the strong medication humming in my veins. After that I got nothing. I do remember thinking that her coat looked like it was made from the pelts of an army of indescribably soft and conforting animals and that I wanted it. Still do.

"A collection for her would help to at least get her into the hotel each night - it costs $56.19 - the hotel is on Veteran's Parkway a couple of doors down from White Castle there at Jungerman."

A collection for a hotel room?? Are you crazy?
$56.19 per night is freaking ridiculous and more than my mortgage! This woman doesn't need a hotel room or hand-outs... She's been doing this for YEARS. She's got her system down-pat. I stopped and gave her $10 once and it left me with an odd feeling; like I wasn't helping her and I just got suckered. In fact, it still makes me angry to think about it.

It's not a crime to be homeless, but people need to stop "helping" her so she can:
a.)hit rock bottom and get the real help she needs
or
b) realize that walking around looking homeless, sad and pathetic is a waste of her time.

You know, some people get a thrill out of that kind of crap. Stop falling for it...

Although I don't believe buying her a hotel room every night is a good solution, I am amazed by the audacity and shallowness of you "sister christian". You think she needs to "hit rock bottom"?? It's pretty apparent she's already there! You think she's just "looking" sad and pathetic? Have you ever been even close to being homeless, without 1 family member or friend to trust or rely on? If you feel like you got suckered then you shouldn't have gone SO far out of your way to give her whole $10! She doesn't need or want people like you helping her. Sad and pathetic? Take a long hard look in the mirror. I pray her misfortune never falls on you.

By the way. She is obviously physically handicapped. I picked her up this evening and she could hardly walk. She needed a lot of assistance just getting in and out of my car she was in so much pain. She has gotten a lot worse since the last time a saw her 2 years ago. I don't see how she would even be able to work if she had a job.

Some of you need to get a heart. I can't believe people like you walk this Earth and are so heartless. I thank God for who I am in that I have empathy for people like her. Be thankful you have the life you have and quit judging this poor woman who has more problems than you will ever dream of having in your lifetime. Go live somewhere else. I happen to believe in karma.

Any comments about the man and women with 2 children in the rear exit parking lot at Walmart on Hwy 'k' with sign begging for money. Really pitiful and sad.
