for the past couple of weeks i have seen a black woman who appears to be homeless walking up mid rivers mall drive and mexico road. ive seen her around for the past couple of weeks walking with a roll suitcase, i thought st peters was a good area? my family and i just moved out here from north county and i was disturbed to see this since we moved to get away from this kind of thing we wanted out of the hood pretty much. any one else see her?

Even if she is homeless does not make St. Peters the 'hood'. It does not make it an area that begs the question ' thought st peters was a good area?'.
Would it be more fair to say that since your grammar and punctuation make you a failure in school so you must be a drug-crazed child molester hiding in a monks robe?

Kinda an unreasonable thought since I know as much about you as you do about that woman.

I've not seen her, but I wish her well, and good luck.

The guy has a point, that one homeless black person is the one you see...but what about the half dozen that are in your walls, under your foundation or just scurry under cover when you turn the lights on. Better call terminex.

Don't tell me that you honestly thought there were no homeless people living in St. Charles County. You should try enlightening yourself by going on Stltoday.com and doing a search. This isn't Pleasantville...

The way things are headed in this country you better ask her if she knows a good spot we can all sleep at night.

She has been around well over a year, St Peters Police cannot do anything about her, even though she obviously has mental issues, she will not let anyone near her, she will start yelling and shaking her first at you. She was hanging out under a bridge embankment on the Service drive between the Mall and White Castle. As far as homeless in our area there is also another that I see, attractive white, late 40ties, or 50ties who had been riding a bicycle with a basket all around town, though lately have seen her walking along Central School Road, and goes into Home Depot for free coffee.

I have also seen the lady in question. Her circumstances does not take away from the community to in which i live. If George is so 'above' living in the same vicinity, please feel free to move once again. I apologize on her behalf that her situation brings down the value of your obvious well educated family

The crazy cat lady that frequents Home Depot does in fact like the free coffee that's served. She also likes to use the bathroom for her monthly/yearly bath. She hangs out in the handicap stall for a while and then proceeds to smear her feces on the walls and mirrors. She knocks over the trash can and turns on all the faucets. In the winter she sleeps in the sheds out front. We can't seem to scare her away, but she does thank us for "making the good coffee." I've seen her all the way up by the mall on her bike. If you get close enough to see her brillo wire hair, you'll notice her hat is made from stitched together Capri-Sun juice containers.

As for the other lady on Mid Rivers, I've seen her a few times in a huge winter coat with a rolling cart. There's even a Facebook group for her if you're interested in following her crazy antics.

Where is the facebook page to follow the antics?
Also The homeless lady with the suitcase stays at the hotel by quick trip on Veterans Parkway Dr. in OFallon. She could use financial assistance to keep staying there.

hmmm not sure we are talking about the same women this women does not have "brillo" hair, she usually wears hiking shorts and is well kept with blondish hair, and I usually see her with a baseball cap on and actually you wouldn't even know she is living in an alternative condition if you only see her once.

i have seen the homeless black woman also. gosh she moves around pretty quick to. ive seen her on mexico and up on the service road to by hwy 79. in the summer time i saw her up by salt lick. i felt very sorry for her as it was a really hot day outside. i pray that god heals her and that she gets the help she needs. there is a salvation army in ofallon she should check out if she need a place to stay. that is very sad her situation. i read somewhere in one of there forums someone calling her a con. that is so mean. you try not having food or groceries or a roof over your head i wonder what her story is and how she got here in st peters. very sad

You should be thankful and feel blessed that you and your family have the means to have made the move to this area. You might even actually have a home and possibly all of your mental facilities. None of us know her circumstances and how she was brought to this point in her life. Could it be a mental illness, divorce, loss of employment? LIke I said... none of truly know. Please have some compassion. Empathy can be learned, sometimes the hard way, ei, by possibly unforseen events in your future which could put you in a similar position.

This "homeless" lady is not so homeless, my friend delivered a pizza to her apartment last week. And the police are saying not to make any contact with her, because she is legally insane.
