It wasn't splitting hairs, just stating the facts. As to apologies, after some of the crap Bush pulled some were in order, there is nothing wrong with an apology when you were wrong. As to bowing, in some cultures it take the place of a hand shake, and there is nothing wrong with it when done in the proper context. Obama isn't the first to do some of those things and he probably won't be the last. Like I stated before Three more years and we will be rid of him.
It was splitting hairs. Did you find where and When Obama apologized yet? Good luck because it never happened.

….. The Summer of 2013
Summer recess for the Congress is a time for senators to languish with their constituents‘. House leadership of the Republican Representatives has rewarded us with the most dysfunctional House in the nations history. Republicans offers a mere token representing leadership. Bipartisan passing Obama’s policy on reforming student loans. 392 to 31. The 31 remain in their dysfunctional ideology of their making, sipping their tea, as progress passed them by.
Luke Messer representative of Indiana praised the student loan deal as a triumph of both policy and politics. Hoping this will appease the anger and disapproval of the constituents’ towards the House’s infamous lack of leadership.
Messer goes on to say ;“It’s a great victory for taxpayers, because taxpayers won’t be forced to subsidize student loan rates that are arbitrarily set by politicians,” Mr. Messer said.“This, I hope, opens the door to potential compromises on some of the other big issues that we have before us that we have to deal with in the next several months. This proves Washington can work.”
Such solemn devotion which was lacking when they allowed student loans to double in interest payments. Senator Elizabeth Warren of Mass. was the principle advocate for having student loans fixated to the interest rate that the Treasury loans to banks. Something Messer and his colleagues continuously rejected. Now as the fact of up coming elections and facing their constituents they become solemn in their desires for this bipartisan leadership to continue unto other issue in the fall.
Some constituents find this too little too late. Others take a wait and see as 2014 approaches.
Will these representatives finally suppress “Austerity” and render support to the middle and the improvised? Promises, promises, promises of the politician.
Questions will haunt them on the issues of immigration. Why have Republican Representatives have no plan on immigration as the Senate has passed an Immigration Bill back in June?
Overhaul of the “Austerity” driven tax code again strangulated by Republicans Representatives. What’s the problem?
As Obama demonstrates the effective fast reduction of the nations debt; Why does the Republican Representatives find this budget unacceptable?
Obamacare has recently be evaluated as successful through out the nation. Benefits have emerged, on a Republican water downed Health Care system, that they now continue to obstruct its implementation.
Why on the same day Republicans Representatives pass the student loan deal they abruptly return to shot down the proposal for a $44.1 Billion funding bill on transportation and housing, that would aid the impoverished with jobs and housing. Republicans Representatives prefer cutting aid to our improvised from the normal allocation of $3.3 billion to $1.6 billion level which is lower than it was first introduced by President Gerald R. Ford!
Representative Hal Rogers, the Kentucky Republican who leads the Appropriations Committee, stated that the House could not pass spending bills that complied with overall financing levels set in its own “austere” budget plan. Republicans desires for “Austerity” is now politically publicly admitted.
This explains the reluctance for our graduates. All of the Republican proposals demanded higher interest rates tied to inflation rates or political desires.???
Republican Representatives for “Austerity” will have a warm summer greeting.

<quoted text>" It was the president’s first concrete proposal in an economic offensive that he inaugurated last week in Illinois to set his terms for coming budget battles with the Republican-controlled House.
But only the packaging was new. The president essentially cobbled together two existing initiatives that have been stalled in Congress: corporate tax changes and his plan to create jobs through education, training, and public works projects.
Mr. Obama outlined the terms of his tax plan in early 2012 during the presidential election, when he said the corporate tax rate would be reduced to 28 percent, from 35 percent, with a lower rate of 25 percent for manufacturing firms.
While the president presented the proposal as a concession, Republicans dismissed it more acidly than usual.“It’s the opposite of a concession,” said Brendan Buck, a spokesman for Speaker John A. Boehner of Ohio.
In the Republicans’ view, Mr. Obama’s offer was less of a “grand bargain” than an effort to extract a new fiscal stimulus program with money from a corporate tax cut that would end up, for accounting reasons, initially generating billions of dollars of revenue for the government."
Dang Nab IT what is your point?

Dang’s paste and copy reply; While the president presented the proposal as a concession, Republicans dismissed it more acidly than usual.“It’s the opposite of a concession,” said Brendan Buck, a spokesman for Speaker John A.

How the proposal originated is not the issue. Brendan Buck is merely seeking to distract and evade the issue. Have you heard Boehner is so fed up with his party he will not run and will retire?
Yes I remember the “Grand Bargain” deal the republicans shot down as they are still doing? Raising revenue for the government to pay its debt is unacceptable by the republicans.??
Here is another example of the “Austerity” desires that republicans cherish; Representative Hal Rogers, the Kentucky Republican who leads the Appropriations Committee, stated “that the House could not pass spending bills that complied with overall financing levels set in its own “austere” budget plan.”
Republicans desires for “Austerity” is now politically publicly admitted. All for the 1% has been and remains their objective.
Which brings us back to “What is your point”??? Dang Nab It..!

The states of Utah, Alaska and Wyoming have a pre-tax income inequality Gini coefficient that is 10% lower than the U.S. average, while Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico 10% higher. After including the effects of federal and state taxes, the U.S. Federal Reserve estimates 34 states in the USA have a Gini coefficient between 0.30 and 0.35, with the state of Maine the lowest.[27] At the county and municipality levels, the pre-tax Gini index ranged from 0.21 to 0.65 in 2010 across the United States, according to Census Bureau estimates.[28]"
Excellent you are actually doing some research. HOWEVER I prefer observations from sources that are independent and with little biases to their investigations. Difficult to appreciate what we think of ourselves as being accurate. U.N. and World Bank are two sources that observes from the outside in. Speculate they would be closer to the reality of our situation. Our National inequality remains at .47 if not higher. Addressing the issues’ of inequality is a most important question that we must sincerely address. Fate of the nation will be determined by the Liberal International Free Trade Markets globalization ideology. Orthodox Communism fell specifically due to their inability to compete in the Free Markets. Just as corrupted or lax regulated democratic capitalism is discovering.
Greater the inequality, in the distribution of laborer’s productivity distributions, the greater their fate will be to embrace failure.

Gini coefficient has features that make it useful as a measure of dispersion in a population, and inequalities in particular.[45] It is a ratio analysis method making it easier to interpret. It also avoids references to a statistical average or position unrepresentative of most of the population, such as per capita income or gross domestic product. For a given time interval, Gini coefficient can therefore be used to compare diverse countries and different regions or groups within a country; for example states, counties, urban versus rural areas, gender and ethnic groups. Gini coefficients can be used to compare income distribution over time, thus it is possible to see if inequality is increasing or decreasing independent of absolute incomes.
Other useful features of Gini coefficient include:[46][47][48]
Anonymity: it does not matter who the high and low earners are.
Scale independence: the Gini coefficient does not consider the size of the economy, the way it is measured, or whether it is a rich or poor country on average.
Population independence: it does not matter how large the population of the country is.
Transfer principle: if income (less than the difference), is transferred from a rich person to a poor person the resulting distribution is more equal.
.
Yes good research. Now observe it relates not necessarily pertain to wealth but to the security of the constituents‘ policies. Gini grants you a wish. Some choose wealth and others security and yet others peace as well as for those war hawks. It remains a tool by which we can observe the nature of the organizations. Identifying sectors of strength as well a sectors of weakness. It is not the all to say all to inequality. It is one observational tool that defines a growing weakness in our Nation. Here in the USA it identifies the disparity of our laborers’ productivity distributions that is not aligned to our wealth distribution. There in is the crux of the Gini as it pertains to our wealth distributions. You can use Gini for a variety organizations and businesses for a variety areas one may choose to investigate.
“ Transfer principle: if income (less than the difference), is transferred from a rich person to a poor person the resulting distribution is more equal”
This is what we are concerned with here in the USA. The 1% have totally abused income to transfer difference. Huge incomes they have with little to no transfer to the poor person. Gini exposes this particular scenario in this USA as inequality is increasing.
Bangladesh good example of how wealth is not the identifying strength. Rather its distributions of prosperity and security to its populace as it is with Netherland. Now go one step further and observe how did each weather the Great Recession in growth {GDP} in comparison to each other and some others like Sweden and the USA during the years of 2000 and 2010. This will bring into focus the role Gini plays. Note cultural variations as you do so.
Hint Sweden performed had superior growth as compared to the Wealthy USA. Gini .3 with a GDP growth of average 2.6% to GDP.
USA with all its Wealth with a Gini of .47 and a average growth rate to GDP of 1.85%.…;USA suffered and is continuing with the aftershocks of the Great Recession as Sweden had no recession during the Great Recession. All the while they maintained their Universal Education, Universal Health Care and covered all pensions and unemployed scenarios.
As the title implies, the Gini grants you what you wish for. The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. Old saying “Be careful for what you wish for”

You were splitting hairs over the term Christian nation. I showed quotes from Jefferson that enforced his belief that the US was not founded as a Christian nation yet you split hairs because he never said the exact phrase you were looking for. In contrast one of the other lies posted was Obama went on an "apology tour" yet at no time did he ever apologize.

That sir IS NOT splitting hairs, and you can twist it any way you damn well chose. AND I've already stated that I don't give a damn whether he apologized to anyone or not. You are nothing more or less than an idiot who would follow Obama without question, even if he jumped off a cliff. In short you haven't got the brains God gave a GNAT.

Jefferson most certainly did....and I provided the links to back me up. Yet because he didn't say the exact phrase you try to split hairs. You are the one up to your eyeballs in shyt boy.

Now since you decided to take the typical texatard stance and debate like a spoiled brat, instead of like an adult I will treat you like a little brat, boy.

By the way boy, John Adams also enforced the belief that America was not a Christian nation. that makes 2 founding father Presidents that said it.

"As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion; as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion, or tranquillity, of Musselmen; and as the said States never have entered into any war or act of hostility against any Mehomitan nation, it is declared by the parties that no pretext arising from religious opinions shall ever produce an interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries." John Adams Treaty of Tripoli.

Are you going to deny that one too, boy?

Fiction!
The constitutionality of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act has been questioned by several courts in various states in the US since it was passed into law in March 21, 2010. According to an August 12, 2011 article in Reuters a U.S. Appeals Court for the 11th Circuit, based in Atlanta ruled that it was unconstitutional to require all Americans to buy insurance or face a penalty but it unanimously reversed a lower court decision that threw out the entire law.

Final say on the matter came from the Supreme Court which ruled in favor of it.

Also interesting, President Andrew Jackson violated a federal court ruling (Supreme Court) on Indian Removal. Making the claim Obama was the first a double lie.

Actually, you are correct about his statement in the treaty, however you left out the part about him having to send gifts to the Shah before he would ratify the treaty. Again you choose only to use the quotes that suit you. Adams also said, and I quote: "The Christian religion is above all the religions that ever prevailed or existed in ancient or modern times, the religion of wisdom, virtue, equity, and humanity." Now does your ignorant a$$ actually believe that anyone would state that belief in a treaty with a Muslim Shah? HELL NO! Polititions quite often tell people what they want to hear in order to gain their objectives. JUST TWIST IT LITTLE GIRL!

Actually these Ten Gallon Tin Hat cowboys have had all of these discussions about a year or two ago. Same facts presented to them and as you can observe they twist and turn evade, distract, hide from the truth. Truth is a theory that remains until otherwise disproved and that is why they are still here trying to disprove truths that they cannot. Making this site and good thread to keep filling it with facts as they unfold on the political stage. All the right wing have here are Tin Hats to support them. Hey here is one that defiant likes to bring out of his closet every now and then; “FEMA CONCENTRATION CAMPS!” LOL Most times I just throw them back into the chasm that they are erecting all about themselves.
Chasm widens. Will this give birth to the Progressive Grand Old Party?
Senator Ted Cruz {R Tea Party} from Texas has launched his desires for the 2016 presidenticy as has Marco Rubio {R Tea Party} of Florida.
Cruz has revealed as he says “ A dirty little secret, republicans {traditionalist} would like very much to cast a symbolic vote against raising the debt ceiling and nonetheless to allow our democrat friends on the left side of the aisle to raise the debt ceiling.”
Mike Lee {R Tea Party} and Ted Cruz prefer the hostage/ransom method to block any progress of the Congress. John McCain {R Traditional} disagrees as this will inflame the scenario of an up and down vote by the democrats. Who will then expand that to all Key issues.
Democrats begin to set the stage. Complaining of how the republicans are blocking or delaying confirmation of top White House nominees. Including Federal Judges. Accusing a small group are abusing their powers to block actions for our Congress to proceed with the governing of our Nation.
