I guess my question is how could you never intended to kill someone you have a gun your in a public place and the gun did kill someone so in my eyes there is something wrong with this news coverage to begin with what is the real story behind this only a police officer on duty should be walking around with weapons to begin with how very sad i feel for this family but there is much more to be told about why this even went on . What was going on with the man who did this? Why does he feel he has the power to walk around with a Gun? Why did he feel that this was his only choice to even fire that gun? I pray to God that is something this man can comes to terms with cause one day he will have to answer to God himself. I am very sorry for this family how very sad and scary for all people in this world what is wrong with this world God Bless

I don't condone killing no matter what. But, I do have to say that it sounds to me like Wirth was protecting himself from the hot head Gregg Peters. Peters has been kicked out of two bars for violence in the past and he has been convicted twice of domestic abuse. Once against Jennifer. Had Jennifer not pinched anyone's ass, and then told her meat head boyfriend, they would still be alive. She was a cop, so she should be held to a higher standard that that. Grabbing someones ass is sexual abuse. 3 lives were ruined that night and all three had a part in this senseless act.

Andrew Wirth is scum. Anyone who has a tattoo "Nothing to Lose" is a POS. Just because some pinches your butt doesn't mean you can shoot them. Wirth is a good reason why WI needs to bring back the death penalty.

All three people involved made bad decisions that lead to this tragedy. This could have easily been avoided had anyone of the three behaved differently. It is the families of those involved I feel sorry for.

He didn't realize he shot someone. Oh give me a break. How can you not know u shot someone. There is always flirting is bars and such, but that doesn't mean you have to shoot someone over it. I mean cmon a butt pinch. OMG...... What ever happened to talking and say please stop. I mean this guy is seriously disturbed, Who the heck carries a gun around to a local establishment. perhaps he is paranoid. I mean this is Jefferson, I think he should have stayed home, it would have been safer.
I do feel bad for the families........ Now he dug his grave and ruined his life, now he has to lay in it.....

So if he is bound over for trial, I think that means the judge has found sufficient evidence to go ahead.(now that doesnt mean he's actually guilty)
I just dont understand how people can justify him shooting 2 people over a butt pinch, and justify him carrying a gun. Maybe if Mr. Wirth wasn't such a wanna be bad azz, he would still be walking the streets. Then again, we dont need a thug like that walking around, carrying a gun, shooting anyone he pleases

It is quite possible he did not know he shot Luick. Reports say he shot Peters three times. It is possible a bullet passed through Peters and hit Luick without Wirth's knowledge.

I believe Mr. Wirth didn't realize he shot Jennifer. His argument was with Peters. Sounds like self defense to me. After all the meat head macho man Peters is the one who told Wirth to step outside. He should have left it alone. Jennifer being an officer should not have allowed her boyfriend to take a man outside in the first place. Especially knowing her boyfriends violent past. He was accused of domestic violence against Jennifer in 2008. The testimony from one of the witnesses said that Mr. Wirth told Peters to stop being so f'ing stupid. I believe he felt threatened by Peters. I'm not saying that anyone deserves to die over their stupidity, but I really do believe that Wirth was merely defending himself. Not right, but true. Sad for all three and their families.

If she would have left when her friends left, instead of her and her boyfriend going back in the bar to confront Wirth, everthing would be back to normal and no one would be dead(sworn testimony from her friend) What the hell was she thinking? Did she not think of her son? Her Job? How she SHOULD be conducting herself? And why was she still dating an abuser? She locks up people who do that! Any pitching others people's butts is sexual assault. Cops should be held to the same laws they enforce. Wirth is only 24 years old. I feel bad for him. His life is over because two people didn't know when to go home!
Taken from the daily newspaper:
Blasier said she saw Luick touch Wirth's behind and he seemed to take offense. Blasier said she saw Luick and Wirth talking back and forth, and after the music was over she, Luick and their friends walked outside to leave. As they were walking outside, Blasier said she could hear Luick saying that Wirth had been a jerk. At that point, Luick and Peters turned around and went back into the bar while Blasier left with a friend.

And if Mr. Wirth didnt bring a gun with him, no one would have been shot...We can play the blame game all day long, but in the end Mr. Wirth shot and killed 2 people and eventually will be serving time for it.

The facts are this...Andrew Wirth shot & killed 2 innocent people (which mind you did not have weapons on them)out of nothing but pure rage. Regardless of what words were exchanged between the 3 of them, nothing gave that useless scum bag any right to pull the trigger and kill 2 people! May Andrew Wirth suffer more than any human has ever suffered before and rot in hell for what he did to those 2 familes!!!!

And the facts are THIS: Had she gone home when her friends went home (like she and Gregg should have) she would not have had to confront the "useless scum bag." But NO, "robo cop" and her loser boyfriend had to egg Wirth on. Remember, WIRTH DID NOT GO AFTER THEM-THEY WENT AFTER HIM!
Excerpt from newspaper--Notice the "reluctant to fight" eye witness account below:
Wirth and Peters walked outside with Jennifer behind them. Witnesses say they saw Peters and Wirth struggling and Wirth pointing a gun at him. Wirth seemed reluctant to fight. "The man with the gun told him to quit being so stupid," witness Brian Trader said.

At what point in time did Wirth get his gun or did he have it on him the whole time????

I guess I dont get how he can be reluctant to fight yet is pointing a gun at someone. Heck I wouldnt want to fight neither, when I can just shoot them

While it is legal for almost anyone to carry a gun openly in wisconsin, it is illegal to carry a gun concealed unless you are a law enforcement officer and it is illegal to carry a gun into a tavern unless you are an "on duty" law enforcement officer. WIrth violated the law by carrying concealed and bringing a gun into a tavern. Gun laws do not seem to work well.

He was(Wirth) about to be beaten by a man who had an anger issue. Hence the restraining order against him(Peters) from Jenni. So in reality, Jenni was out breaking TWO LAWS that night, maybe more. As for walking around with a gun, you can do that in Wisconsin. It is called "open carry". Personally, I'd have done the same thing Mr Wirth did exactly. He knew his safety was in danger, and he acted on it. It isnt his fault he was sexually molested by a police officer and it isnt his fault he was challenged to go outside by a drunk police officer and her bully boyfriend.

So you're saying that Mr. Wirth should have let this guy who was much bigger then him, who had a violent temper, just beat him until he's the dead man? Oh ok...you're so right. No one should ever protect themselves from drunk cops and bully boyfriends. He should have stood there, and let Peters beat him until Peters felt he'd had enough.
