Moving to Orlando In january any advice??

Hi, well we live in tennessee now and my husband, 3 kids and I are moving there in January to start school. Someone on the orlando topix recomended this community to someone else and said to check out this topix an couple months ago so I tohugh I would write to ask Our schools are both located new airport area. My husband has been to florida and lived there for work reasons B4. I have only been to top of florida 1 time so I'm extremly worried. What are good area's to Live-neighborhood, Apartments Work, Play grounds, and Schools? What area's should we stay away from? Like I have said I have never lived there infact I have never lived out of this small town. Any advice I would greatly appericate it.

Stay away from Pine Hills. I'm sure there are more bad areas than that but that's the one we on the west side of Orlando know about.

Winter Garden is a nice community with fairly good schools (for Florida). It has a small-town feel with lots of community activities, a bike trail, and several playgrounds. It's a long way from the airport though - 40 minutes on toll roads on a good day. Of course Orlando's traffic is such that you are screwed no matter where you live, so you might as well live somewhere nice even if it takes you longer to get where you are going.
