An Ocoee police sergeant arrested after a woman said he stripped, fondled and spanked her against her will was fired, effective today.

KIDDING! Yikes, although I don't believe anyone's personal life and sexual preferences should have a bearing on their career, a line has to be drawn...especially where there's been evidence of prior complaints relating to the exact same behavior. Pretty much alleviates any potential (in my mind) for an excuse of a misunderstanding or "scorned woman" that some may have presumed to be the cause here. Sexual assault or harrasment in the workplace often goes unreported or disregarded, when in fact, it is more likely to be repeated than temperamental and/or violent behavior.
