I am sick and tired of the service department at the toyota dealer in Thomasville. I carry my truck in to get service and they want me to do $300 of other B.S. to make my bill go up. When I have a problem you have to deal with someone that has never turned a wrench in their life. They do all kinds of so called repairs and the problem is still not fixed. They do not want to stand behind their work either. The whole time you are sitting waiting, a saleman is in you face tring to get you to buy another vehicle so they can screw you with it.

Have you ever shopped at the Chrysler/Dodge dealer in Quitman ? Talk about high-pressure sales ! And don't give them your car keys. They'll keep you there trying to hi-pressure you into buying a car. It didn't work with me and I'll NEVER go to that dealership again.

I wont take my vehicle back to Tville Toyota either, no one there takes responsibility or knows what is going on. I had to take my sub back 3 times before it was done right but still not 100% or what should have been done....

I strongly endorse the VW dealer in Valdosta. The vehicles are great and the Service Department is very attentive. I had a problem they didn't fix right the first time so when I took it back again they gave me a brand new car to drive and they kept mine to fix right and make sure it was right before I got it back. I kept their car about 2 weeks but they eventually fixed something on mine that was so obscure that the ONLY way they fixed it was by ACCIDENTALLY finding the problem. I'm very pleased with their service and the sales people aren't bad... not much in the high pressure line. More like at least some of their salesmen don't seem to know much about the cars. The ones that do are OK though... they also sell Subaru, which I will probably buy for my wife next year...

The service department at Thomasville Toyota is still horrible. They will be glad to sell you a car, but don't go there expecting to get treated very well by service people - especially if you didn't buy your car there.

What they don't seem to grasp is that some people go to a dealership to look at cars while theirs is being serviced. And if you get treated like dirt by the service department then you aren't going to return to buy a car - at least I won't

I gave up on them and started dealing with Legacy Toyota. The service dept cost Thomasville Toyota a sale with me for sure. Cars may cost less in Thomasville, but the service there SUCKS.

Took my car to Thomasville Toyota for an oil change and knew it was taking to long so I walked to the back and looked through the window into the shop and they had all my tires off the car, those tires were brand new just placed on the car the day before, they did not need balancing or rotating and I cetainly didn't ask for them to be. When they finally got my oil changed an hour and a half later they tried to charge me for the rotation and balance, needless to say I didn't pay for it....They have forgotten to reset the maintenance soon light twice and had to take it back when they changed the oil....Sloppy work being performed there.......

They wouldn't even talk to me. I went on a Saturday with the intent on looking at a new truck while they changed my oil. One of the service guys walked outside, I had to run him down and he just walked off. The place wasn't busy at all. I will never darken a doorway in that crappy place again. They lost a sale for sure. The stupid smiley face advertisements are annoying too. I would recommend going to Valdosta or Tallahassee rather than dealing with the morons in Thomasville.

Thomasville Toyota must not be owned by the Cone boys. I was always treated very well at Cone Motors or whatever dealership they owned

For anyone who thinks Thomasville is bad, if you want to get throughly scr*ed, then go to Legacy in Tallahassee. We got messed around by them buying a new car, one of our friends was quoted massive amounts of money for repairing hers (she did elsewhere for a lot less) and we keep running into people who say they knew someone who was taken there, as well.

We refuse to go there after the ordeal we went through and now take our car for service to Thomasville. So far, we've had not many complaints.

The vast majority of posts on here are from a bunch of whiny, self centered A-holes that no matter where they go for service are going to be upset. It's not that the service was bad to them, nor did anyone offend them-It's that their lives are so pathetic that they walk around all day everyday with hate in their heart and themselves on their mind. Some people just cannot be pleased! To the posters' above, I'd hate to have a life like yours where the most pleasure you get is posting lies about others. Have a great day-it IS ok to smile and be happy once in awhile.....

Anybody who comes on topix looking for advice, or to make serious comments is wasting their time. This board started off as a good idea but has become a place for fools and ne'er do wells. Not a serious place.
