I think that the officer that made the arrest should be disciplined. He was just trying to show the firefighter who had more power. This was not the time or place for such a ridiculous scene. This firefighter was just doing his job. We are very proud or our firefighter's everywhere. The officer should be ashamed of himself for his behavior. This type of behavior makes the CHP look very bad. They should be working together for the common goal of helping the victims and avoiding accidents while doing their jobs.

The California Highway Patrol has got to be the most egotistical bunch of badge heavy pricks anywhere in law enforcement. Even other law enforcement officers don't have anything good to say about them because the CHP gives all the police a bad name.
Arresting this firefighter for doing his job is one of many stupid things the CHP does everyday.
