Iwas totally amazed at the person ringing the cow bell last night, I wondered if they forgot they are Renegades, not cow hearders. I scream, yell, jump and support the team as much as anyone at the game does, and more than some people do, but the cow bell was a bit much.

whistle, yell, scream, etc. but to ring a cow bell at a ball game, is borderline stupid. Unless they want Jessie Hughes cows come across the field to see where the bull is.

I left the game early and went up the hollow to visit some friends and I could hear the bell all the way up to their house.

UHHHHH as well as I remember, Westside is supposed to be a combined school. Not another Oceana or another Baileysville, or anything else, just WESTSIDE!!!!! If you want to hear a cow bell then go back to the two Oceana schools that is left and ring away.

It is really upseting that people try to tell other people what to do in a free country. The person ringing the bell has every right to do so. If you are upset about how things are with the ball team or coaches you need to remember it is only a game and you have young men out there playing their heart and soul for the team. Now if people would discuss the coaches I am sure that would be interesting.

Yes, Westside is a consolidated school of Oceana and Baileysville. So traditions from either school, the non-distructive non-humiliation type, should be be perfectly welcome. It is not, however, a new school where there are not traditions.

What difference does it make. I guess Oceana figured Baileysville would like it to since alot of Long Branchers go to that school. I guess a chicken cuckling would be more suitable huh?

I got to watch the Westside parade today and you could tell that everyone had put a lot of time, pride and money in the prade. Not only was Westside represented well, you had your schools from the area represented well, this was only your grade school, middle school, and even your churches, politicians, and anyone else that wanted to put their time and effort into showing support for their high school and community. So I hope that the lady that has the cow bell brings not one but two . We love our Renegades.

I don't ever remember a cowbell at an oceana game and I went to just about every game at Oceana, if there was one there then it wasn't loud and disruptive. lots of schools have fans with cowbells, you can buy them in school colors! Go Westside!

Why dont everyone just get over the whole Oceana - Baileysville thing? So what it is compared to what was done at Oceana High School? Get Over It Fed Up! I bet you spend lots of time in Oceana anyway, because Baileysville doesn't even have a town! Another thing, Whoever has the problem with the cow bell should probably just stay home! Tonight, we will all have cow bells, so i suggest that you find something else to occupy your Friday nights!:)

I see absolutely no problem bringing a cow bell to a football game. I believe it's been done since a football was round. LOL If if bothers someone bad enough they can move to the "elderly" section. No offense to the elderly I'm over 60 myself. I don't mind the bell but some might.

the cowbell has a purpose, that purpose is to distract the other team and man is a perfect example of it. everyone at man rings those bells and it does help distract the other team i for one dont own a cowbell but may invest in getting one
