Hell, it doesn't matter who they get, the damn magistrates will slap them on the wrist and tell them to not do it anymore!! I don't even know why they waste damn ink to put the names in the paper!! I am all for vigilante justice, the good citizens need to take their county/towns back from these no goods!! Sure looks as if the system isn't going to do much with them!!

I totally agree with bull, the fact is alot of the people in the article are repeat offenders yet you never hear of them spending anytime in jail over it I don't know if they have familys or inlaws who pay to get them out of trouble or how they seem to always get out of it but they do. Hopefully one day justice will be served and they will get the time they deserve it may make a difference. Not being punished at all for the crimes they commit no wonder they are repeat offenders.

It depends on who you are, what your last name is. It also depends on what information that you have, they get these young kids that are hooked to do their job and they are told if they "name some people, and give some info, that they will make the charges disappear"!!! So it's not the magistrates in some places, it's the lazy cops and the dirty ones too. They don't care if they get an innocent kid killed or not....

well it also depends on the magistrates and other court officials because this was made public it was in the paper everything they were arrested for yet alot of them have not spent a night in jail for it. So it's not just the cops it's the entire court system.I agree the back door deals make it alot harder to see any real justice.

If you are talking about jail time, its not the cops fault at all, its the magistrates and judges. The cops only arrest, they can't committ anyone to jail, that's the magistrates jobs! The peoople need to stick together and demand jail time or vote their ass out!

If the cops tell the magistrate that they have "reached an understanding" with the person who has been charged, then yes it is also the cops fault and I know for a fact that this does happen. If anyone thinks that the cops, magistrates, and judges aren't discussing these issues they are wrong. I have heard people brag about how easy it was to get "out of trouble" when they committed a felony. They said the cop showed up "on their behalf" at which time the "officer speaks to the judge, magistrate, or the prosecuting attorney and even at times with the "criminals attorney" and they tell them that the perp is "co-operating" with them in a matter or matter of importance and the charges are either dropped or reduced to the lowest form of a misdemeanor and the criminal walks out of their and doesn't even have to post bond. I know this "person" was telling the truth, because they should have been locked up several times and spent time for the things they have done. The most I have known of this individual spend behind bars is 24-36 hours at the most. They were even on probation when the last incident occurred and handles a firearm and admitted to doing so, because the firearm was discharged and they still did absolutely zero time behind bars. This individual had only to go speak with an "officer" and all of the charged were dropped. Explain any other way that would be possible if you can. Please enlighten me because I have tried to come up with a different explanation than the person gave and I can't. This was bragged about. So, yes, cops play a much bigger role than you can imagine. I have absolutely no reason to lie about something like this, and nothing to gain by telling it, it is just the truth. It is frustrating that I know how easy these people that commit felonies get off so easy but they do.
