I heard that a man is attaching drums to his trailer so that it becomes a houseboat. It will be epic.

This is somewhat dishonest. The actual story says that by 2100 the cities could be 'locked in' to being swamped some time in the distant future (23 feet of sea level rise) from the emissions scenario to 2100. It does not say that the towns will be underwater by 2100(1 to 5 meters of sea level rise).

You are wrong. Have you not read "to eventually rising by 23 feet in a “worst-case scenario?"

Have you studied this:

http://www.pnas.org/content/early/2013/07/10/...

I compared it in detail with what I know about another state. My conclusion is that they are not wrong with their stuff alas timetables which nobody knows at this time.

Future when it happens is not pretty, that's all.

Exactly. SOMETIME IN THE FUTURE. The subject line says "By century's end, 30 Wash. towns could be under water" in which means by 2100 NOT 'sometime in future'.

You really need to work on your reading and reasoning skills. You would never pass any class of mine.

Silly, a very silly post because you got caught in one of your drowning comments.

Go back and read what you posted:

As to your claims re "us," you don't know me personally. I have no idea what class you are referring to.

Whoever wrote the head line screwed up. Vanessa Ho wrote the story, but the title was probably written by the editor.
