My wife and I were honored to have been given a tour of the house by Ms. Johnson in 1987.
As astounded as we were by the architecture, we were more astounded by her art collection on display; with pieces given to her by her friends Robert Rauschenberg, Jim Dine, Andy Warhol, Claes Oldenburg, Alice Neel and others!

I've always found it interesting that even though Frank Lloyd Wright was an anti-semite, Jews flocked to him with commissions.

Any good biography of Wright's will talk about his anti-semitism, including the fact that he once stabbed a Jewish co-worker in Chicago. He described the Jews as a "pompadoured Jew" in his memoirs.

Build it the Jews will come. LOL.

I was never so glad to exit a place as I was at Wright's Falling Water and Kentuck Knob residences. "Claustrophobic" best describes them both.

People were not 6'-0" and 300lbs when those were designed.

I am 6 feet tall but no where near 300 lbs. Wright designed for Wright - 5'8.5". I felt like I was in a bunker, especially at Kentuck Knob.

You can feel however you want. I'm 6'2" but I felt liberated and vindicated.
