Who lived there first, the raccoons or the golfers ? We take away their space and then get ticked off when they want it back. Got to find a happy medium somehow.

This bothers me on many levels, but for starters the police in Elyria are completely worthless, and should have been out stopping REAL crimes, not busting my grandfather for shooting stupid RODENTS. Then they put it on the news with his MUG SHOT like he was running around the course like a crazy man, also saying,"he claimed to work for the golf course." He didn't "claim to", he DOES - he has been helping them renovate the course and make it as nice as it once was, as he has owned his own golf course before. He's a great person and shouldn't be dragged through the mud because the police and the news rooms were bored....

Just wondering how many of you have had racoons tearing up your front lawn. You keep repairing the damage and they keep destroying it. Just imagine 50 or more racoons tearing up maybe 50-60 acres of golf course fairways and trying to keep up with the damage. They tear up 30-40 feet areas of turf in many areas in one night. I love animals too, but I also love to golf on beautiful pristine fairways.

To all of the so called neighbors of the golf course: the racoon population is so high around there, are you all waiting for someone to contract rabbies from one of those varmints.

To animal rights people: If demand for animal furs was still up and people were hunting and trapping like they did in the old days, there wouldn't be an over population of critters.

Would the sweetcorn farmer let the crows ruin all of the sweet corn, or does he do something about it. Everybody loves sweet corn.

Golf course should be returned to nature, golf sucks and folks who play it are retarded.
