Why do we feel inclined to kill, or control the few beautiful remnants of nature?

Deer are certainly some of the most wonderful creatures to experience, for those who enjoy the wildlife of our area...
Culling(killing, proper) is nothing more than a convenient means of exhibiting human ignorance.
Do we really think this is the answer?
Big Pine Key, Fla. reduced and enforced speed restrictions to protect the Key Deer. Shouldn't we also, be preserving our natural resources?
Who ever heard of sharpshooters being employed by A MetroParks organization. Time for some serious thinking....
