I can't believe that the county residents have sat by and allowed Charlie Dooley to dictate trash pickup and recycling requirements. This is AMERICA people. Do you realize how communistic it is to wake up one morning and find a recycle can outside your home with a $7.00 monthly fee attched, whether you have enough to recycle montly or not? I'm pro recycling but it must be each individuals decision. And, no one should be forced to pay for it when there are mutiple churches and food banks that WERE benefiting from their recycle bins.

I put my recycling in a regular trash can, no fee. Today, trash service is cheaper, recycling is free, and I only have one trash truck on my street as opposed to four.

As far as consolidating trash services being communistic, read up on what communism is before throwing a bomb you have no concept of. Are our police and fire departments also examples of communism?

. . . furthermore. The only thing that is not recyclable is Styrofoam. I am able to recycle approximately 90% of my trash, and I don't even need to sort it.

Romance is never far away today and it will fill you with joy. If you've been hoping to kiss a certain person under the mistletoe but have despaired that it would ever happen, your wish could come true now. If you fancy trying your luck in the sales you'll find some great bargains, but try not to get carried away and bring home the whole shop.
