And the Truth will come out, Amen

MESSAGE FROM OAKLAND ALDERMAN, CHUCK WOMBOUGH

"On 2/22/2010 I communicated my concerns and opinions regarding a message to the Oakland community from Mayor Mullins and Alderman Maggie Powers. In my communication I inferred that I would not become an e-mail gossip columnist, yet here I am again. Folks, thanks to our Mayor's latest misuse of Community Counts, more mis-information has hit the fan.

The most recent erroneous news flash is that candidate Scott Ferguson is responsible for upwards of two hundred thousand dollars in election lawsuits to the Town of Oakland. Wrong......

The Mayor, in my opinion is responsible. The ruling for Scott Ferguson by Chancery Judge Martha Brasfield was based in-part on the fact that the Town of Oakland failed to provide the Election Commission with accurate voting information, dispite numerous request from the Election Commission for this information, resulting in at least 23 ineligible voters in the Oakland Mayoral election.

Who's fault do you think that is? Certaintly not Scott Ferguson's.

To date, there has not been a published documented accounting of the actual election lawsuit legal fees, and do the legal fees constantly referenced include those pertaining to the numerous other lawsuits facing our Town?

Do they include the legal fees attached to the election lawsuit appeal filed by Alderman John Evans and supported by the Mayor?

Do they include those fees connected to the recently lost Annexation lawsuit filed by Mayor Mullins against the Town of Somerville, including several costly fruitless appeals?

It also became known during the election lawsuit appeal that the Board of Alderman had passed a Resolution whereas the wording of that Resolution allowed the Mayor to have legal representation at the hearings so as to protect the best interest of our Town. Is that part of the mounting legal fees?

As a final bit of information, Scott Ferguson incurred out of pocket expenses for legal representation at the hearings and appeal process, as did Myles Leifer. Mayor Mullins did not.

I have also decided that as long as lies and mis-information is going to be communicated to the public, I will be left with no choice but to address them appropriately. Thank you for your patience."

What out of pocket expenses has Scott paid himself? ACTUAL not what Doyle has donated, but from his actual earnings from a J O B. By the way when and where and what state was a business license issued for Scott's mobile detail service?? And seeing that he is running for public office, I can only assume that Scott filed income tax returns on the income recieved from the mobile detail service?

As I understand it by reading the State Audit Report, tisdale received money from Oakland, that he did not file income tax on, for clothes. I doubt if mullins filed taxes on any of his payola, unless he claimed he fixed thousands of transmissions for $2000.00 each. Remember he said fixing transmissions is hobby of his, and he has fixed thousands for free! When does he find time to be mayor?
I've noticed several houses have two mullins signs up, making it appear more than just one household is misguided. No number of mullins signs are going to sway anyone to vote for a criminal. No amount of $100 BBQs is going to sway anyone to vote for a criminal. More than 65% of the people tried to get rid of mullins last time, with tisdale's PTD, jjs Christmas Miracle, and mullins upcoming conviction I don't really see anyone deciding mullins has gotten better!
