When is the court ruling on tisdale's PTD

Does anyone know when the appeals court is going to rule on the PTD tisdale's lawyers are trying to get their client? If they wait until after the conviction in December, they won't be able to get him one at all, as he will no longer be a first time offender. Also, does anyone know if mullins and tisdale are going to have seperate trials in Dec? If so, what is tisdales date with destiny?
The mullins crowd have stated, bill just can't wait to have his trial, as he is 110% innocent, there will be no requests for a continuance, or someone getting "sick", or any other trick used to keep the guilty out of court, and jail.
Is tisdales crowd saying the same thing about tisdale? It looks like he has already used a trick to keep from having his first trial. I understand he was weeping like "the mother of the bride", begging for a PTD, and even offered to pay back the full $5,000.00, so as the two low level cops that took the PTD, wouldn't have to. Part of their deal was to pay back the money they helped fraud the insurance company out of, even though they never got the money. I guess tisdale's weeping offer, is kind of like admitting he got the money!
Does anyone think tisdale will end up "telling all" about mullins, in order to stay out of the slammer? Or is he so loyal to mullins he'll do time for him? Time is drawing near, so any guess you have will be found right or wrong, soon.

After reading the post by "Court Watcher", I went back and read the PTD deal between the state and the two "low level" cops charged with tisdale. You are correct in your assertion that they are court ordered to pay back the $5,000.00. I don't want to second guess a judge, but while these two obviously were part of the scam, only tisdale and mullins would have access to the money paid out to Oakland. It would seem to me, after tisdale is found guilty, he should have to pay at least a third of the $5,000.00, if not all of it. I hold no regard for the two cops, if they took a PTD, they must have been guilty, and they are lucky to have gotten a PTD. But tisdale was in charge, and should be held to a higher standard. Maybe the judge will modify his original ruling regarding the two low level cops, once tisdale is convicted, or his attorney is able to get him the PTD he is begging for. Anyone else have any thoughts on this subject? It is a messy situation, and has brought discredit, not just to the three charged in the killing and resurrection of kit, but to our town. I for one hope the judge is not lenient, this would send the wrong message to all the other would be thieves and low lifes that use a position of trust to prey upon tax payers.

All this said in the pretrial assumption he is guilty! Sounds like you have forgotten what a fair trial means.

Tisdales trial did not go forward because, his attorney filed with a higher court, trying to force the judge in the case to order the D.A. to give him the same PTD, that was given to the two low level cops that were also charged in the case. They seem to think the two low level cops that worked for tisdale share as much guilt as the chief of police!
