Crazy eddys is the best place in bowling green to buy furniture. They have great prices and a very friendly costumer service!! Go there and buy you will be pleased. They have a new store where the old sofa express used to be and the old store is still open(behind pier 1)

I believe some of these post giving such praise are the same person or buddies, not actual customers. It would be kind of odd for the times to be posted so close together.

Crazy eddies is ok. I used to work at Fords Furniture and the have the crappiest furniture in town. They will not stand behind their products. They charge way to much for the junk. I have actually seen on several occasions, the Fords get defective furniture returned and then they sell it to someone elsr for full price and do not tell the customer that anything was wrong with the product. I actually saw them sell a matress and then the customer returned it, they turned around and sold it to another person as new and that person got a used matress along with BED BUGS!! They practice bad business and are extremely racist. The Fords make fun of their customers all the time behind the customer's back. Their furniture is crap and they are really bad people. Just thought that I would let people know, so that they dont get screwed over like I have seen the Fords do to so many people.

I've never worked at Fords but I have bought furniture there and it held up very well. They are more expensive than Crazy Eddie but I think its apples to oranges in quality. Think about what you said, they won't stand behind their product but you go on to say a customer returned the matteress and it was used. If Ford's won't take things back that are defective, how did the mattress get back there? If you are going to do advertising for Eddie, get your story straight before you start your post. Its pretty easy to figure out by the way you are doing it now.

Crazy Eddie's is HORRIBLE, I bought two bedroom suites there a couple of months ago, and they have already fell apart. That is the cheapest made furniture I have ever seen. I will never go back and have warned everyone I know to not buy anything from them.

Crazy Eddie's is a rip off. Like all things you get what you pay for, and in his case you get even less.

Someone like you is apperently used to bed bugs because you seem to be ok with that.

Explain to me how the furniture was returned by the customer when you said Ford's would not stand behind the furniture. Maybe the bed bugs got on the bed from you laying on there taking your nap instead of working. Isn't that what caused you to be fired????????

I've bought tens of thousands worth of furniture from Ford's over the years. They have great customer service, deliver free of charge, and have come to my home a couple of times to either repair or replace furniture that had minor flaws. It would take a great deal to take my business elsewhere.

personally, i've bought a living room suite from crazy eddie's it was suede and leather, i've had it for over a year and it's still in perfect condition. now my children's beds i bought from there turned out to be crap, but u get what u pay for, they were the cheapest in town. but the couch and love seat is still great! i have no complaints for it, u just really gotta get in there and inspect stuff..when u go in..u know the way u just plop down on the couch when ur tired from work..do that in the store a couple of times to test it out. dont just gently sit on it..test it out!!! overall i think crazy eddies got sum decent stuff.

When I moved here 5 years ago, I bought about half of the furniture for my home at Ford's (the other half from Haverty's)and have been quite satisfied. I had a small problem with a drawer after about 6 months and Ford's came out the next day and fixed it, no charge, no problem. I think you got fired and are taking it out on the Fords. Shame on you telling lies that could seriously hurt this business.

I recently decided to buy new furniture (Living room suit, dining room table and a new bed) I first went to Crazy Eddies, found a dining room table there that I liked. So I put it on lay-away by making a 50 down payment. I didn't get great customer service at Eddies but that was fine at the moment because I knew what I was looking for. I wasn't impressed with the living room furniture, because I feel its a little "crazy" to make that kind of purchase with no warranty.. Any way on a whim I stopped at Simply Furniture. And I will never purchase furniture from any other furniture store... As A matter of fact I ended up finding a dining room table that I liked so much more, that was solid oak (not cheap knock off furniture) for 20 dollars cheaper. I then went back to Eddies to cancel my layaway.. and talk about rude. There was only teenage boys working the store and when I explained that I wanted to cancel my layaway they gave me attitude. Even made me give back the receipt, say "We need our paper work back" Honestly, what would you be able to do with a receipt. Then they refused to give me my money back.. what ever. I went back to Simply furniture afterwards to make my final purchase. They guy even knocked off extra because of the way Eddies treated me. Talk about a top quality establishment... I would send anyone I know to Simply Furniture..

Also, right after my little episode at Crazy Eddies. I come home to find out my room mates boss bought a living room suit from Crazy Eddies over 2 months ago and was told a section of the suit would be delivered with-in two weeks, but he was yet to recieve that section...and yes he paid for it 2 months prior.. They have been reported to the BBB.

The finish has faded and the hardware turned color. This furniture is in the house, but looks like it has been in a shed. Hope your experience is better than mine.
