You rude little cow!

I know you are young, and it must suck donkey balls to have your mom or grandma make you stand around in a supermarket parking lot on a Friday night, harrassing strangers to buy their nasty homemade shit. But honey, getting mouthy with me was absolutely the wrong thing to do!

What you and your clan were doing was ILLEGAL. You can't prepare food at home, then go out in public and attempt to sell it. First of all, NO ONE IN THEIR RIGHT MIND IS GOING TO BUY READY TO EAT FOOD FROM SOMEONE THEY DON'T KNOW! Got it? Second, you guys were breaking about a million different health and licensing laws. Had you been smart, you'd keep a low profile and fly under the radar. But no. You got loud and let your attitude fly when I asked you a simple question. In fact, you got SO loud and rude, that I turned right around and reported you to the people who work there. I have a feeling a family member with more brain cells than you wisely suggested you all beat a hasty retreat, because when I went back out there, all of you were gone. And no, I don't buy your poverty story. Well, not entirely anyway. You were clean and well dressed, texting on a cell phone, and looked like you hadn't missed too many meals. Ahem.

And yeah yeah, I know in YOUR tiny brain, Winco parking lot is a 'public place'.*Snort*. As I informed you, Miss Ignorance, Winco's parking lot is PRIVATE PROPERTY, owned by...WINCO!! And they have the absolute right to say what goes on on their property! And it doesn't include you and your familia selling crap on the premises.

And for anyone who thinks I'm a racist? My grandmother is Mexican, and I have fond memories of making tamales with her and my cousins every year for Christmas. Thank Jesus Christ Almighty my Abuela had more class than to hawk her tamales in a store parking lot! Maybe you should open up a lemonade stand instead, my dear.

Are you effing NUTS?!!! You are PREGNANT and you buy tamales from complete strangers?!!
Let me explain it to you, you idiot.
You have NO idea exactly where or how those tamales were prepared. Which means that the kitchen where they were cooked could look like a toxic waste dump, and you wouldn't know.
You don't know for sure exactly what's in them. Really.
You don't know if the person cooking them washed their hands properly, or wiped their behind, picked their nose...then went on making tamales WITHOUT washing their hands.
You don't know if they were dropped on the floor or ground.
You don't know how long ago they were made or how long they have been without refrigeration.
You don't know if the utensils and pots used to cook them were properly cleaned, or had traces of last week's moldy beans.
For all you know, they could be spitting in them, flicking boogers in them or worse. Feeling sick yet?
You could contract Hepatitis A, tuberculosis, influenza, strep and god knows what else. This would be bad enough if it were just you, but dear lord, you are pregnant!
Do you know how Hepatitis or TB could damage or even kill your unborn baby?!!! Do you really want to take that chance because you crave tamales?! Go to a regular restaurant or get off your @ss and make them yourself!
THERE IS A DAMN GOOD REASON WHY THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT REQUIRES A LICENSE TO SELL FOOD!!!
Honestly, this is one of the stupidest, most foolhardy things I've ever heard.
Do your poor baby a favor. The next time you see your welfare doctor, tell him or her that you buy tamales in the Wal Mart parking lot and eat them. See what they say. I guarantee you they will be appalled and recommend you stop.

Interesting! The first time I patronize a restaurant...I'm getting food from complete strangers! The kitchen could look like a "toxic waste dump"..I wouldn't know if the person who was making my food "washed their hands properly, or wiped their behind, picked their nose"..I don't know if "the utensils and pots used to cook them were properly cleaned, or had traces of last week's moldy beans"...or "for all you know, they could be spitting in them, flicking boogers" and...oh, forget it! Your maniacal rant makes no sense whatsoever..lol..it's about CHOICES! We get it! You're pissed at a young girl...both of you apparently acted in an appalling manner. But to berate another for disagreeing with you in such a vile way..is disturbing! Take a Xanax, grab some scotch and calm the hell down..lol...

Makes no sense you say? Are you kidding? Well, why have laws anyway, eh? Yeah. That mean ol' Health Department and their silly rules! They shouldn't be allowed to tell people what to do! Hell, I think I'll go make some cookies and use that rancid flour I've been meaning to throw out. Ooh!! Maybe I'll fish that bag of rotten chocolate chips out of the garbage and use those too! And washing my hands or keeping the cat off the counter? That's for sissies! After all, why should I have to follow some pesky health and safety laws, right? Then I can go to Wal Mart and sell them, because people have the CHOICE not to buy them, right? They have the CHOICE not to eat them!

I'm ever so sorry, but I don't follow your ridiculous logic. Something tells me that if you or one of yours got sick from that sh*t, you'd be the first one burning up the phone lines complaining to the Health Department, hypocrite. Sort of like my neighbor's son, who gripes about the cops hassling him all the time, but who calls them and demands they do something when his car is broken into! Jesus H Christ on a bicycle. No wonder this country's in the state it's in.

Once AGAIN, by patronizing a LICENSED establishment, if you got sick, if they failed to pass their inspection(s), they'd be shut down. Don't try and equate some illegal immigrant with a second grade education, who can't speak the language, and who's own personal hygiene is questionable, with licensed, sit down restaurants who are required to follow the law or have their doors closed. There is no comparison.

Frankly, if I wanted to look at people selling blankets, rosary beads, or tamales in the street? I'd go to Tijuana. And dude. I seriously doubt that ignorant girl is even aware these boards exist, so no mas, eh?

Wow, wow and wow!! Someone has an appallingly slow life to have to resort to having a manic meltdown over tamales sold in the Winco parking lot. If your life is so tortuously pathetic that you need to rant like a crazed lunatic over this, may I suggest you run out and get a life right away. From your first post to your following one's I would say you have some crazed anger issues and perhaps should take the advice of Rcalilaw and take a Xanax... Your language alone lends to the belief that you are in need of not only the Xanax, but some lessons in tact, diplomacy and education. Good luck.

Interesting that you call me a hypocrite when I've made no mention about me buying or not buying tamales from a store! How on earth do you know what I'd do..lol...A state license doesn't always mean anything...the day I've decided to eat in a restaurant, who knows, the cook could have picked his nose, wiped his ass with his bare hand AND still made my food! Now, unless there's a health inspector there 24/7..which they're not...that's the RISK you take! And I never asked you to follow my logic...nor would I expect you to! Don't think you're capable based on your semi-delusional rants (and I'm being generous). Funny, you state that said-girl is even aware these boards exist! Yet, you come on here and create a post TO HER..lol...coward! I eagerly await your next delusional and irrational post! Very entertaining =)

In the meantime you might want to take a look at this:

They may be able to help! You're very welcome =)

For goodnes sake can someone not have a legitimate gripe without everyone jumping on him? Maybe they overeacted a bit but I also don't like being bothered by people selling things. It's one reason why I don't shop Winco. The times I've been there they have very aggressive beggars in the parking lot. It's scary at night to have some person you don't know approach you asking for money.

rcalilaw, do YOU buy food from someone selling it in a store parking lot? Here's a clue: If you do, you're an idiot. And if you don't, you're a hypocrite or a liar.

You can't have it both ways. Either you agree with me that people shouldn't be allowed to do this, or you think it's ok. And if you think it's ok, then you should also be ok with buying and eating the food they sell. If you think anyone should be allowed to sell food with no restrictions, but you refuse to eat it, that makes you a hypocrite. It's really that simple.

I agree laws aren't 100% foolproof. Look at what goes on with the laws in place, but at least there is some control and safety net. With an unlicensed vendor, you really, truly, don't know what you are getting. The laws are there to protect people.

And how am I supposed to contact someone when I have no idea who or where they are?

How's that a "clue" when you've stated the obvious..lol..its either/or...but since I still have not stated what I would do, I fall into neither category! And yes, you can have it both ways..IF YOU CHOOSE TO DO SO..that's what makes this country great. I still don't get why you're so angry and determined to make others see things your way. Yes, the girl (based on what you say) was out of line if she acted as you said!I would be upset also..maybe not to the point where I'd create a post about it..but I am not you and you have every right to voice your opinion. But to hurl racial insults and make disparaging remarks about minorities because of an incident that occurred in a WINCO parking lot is unsettling and frightening.

That wasn't a legitimate gripe! It was vulgar, demeaning, and baseless. It was more of a "vent" than anything. Not one part of it was up for debate. Correct me if I'm wrong..but isn't there more than one store to shop at? If you don't like going to WINCO because of people selling things..then don't go! If it doesn't bother you then shop away....and if you're adamant about going to it..then suck it up, forge ahead and turn a deaf ear to all those selling things. It is what it is....CHOICES =)

Well how freaking predictable.*massive eye roll* The accusations of racism, they are a-flying!

What other groups do you see selling tamales in parking lots and bothering people? Sikhs? African Americans? Japanese/German/Irish Americans? Where have I mentioned race at ALL except to say that my Abuelita was Mexican? I suppose the person who complained about beggars at Winco could go somewhere else, but why should they have to?! THE BEGGARS AREN'T SUPPOSED TO BE THERE! And what happens when the panhandlers invade THAT parking lot? Should they just keep running?

No, you cannot have it both ways. At some point, "choice" i.e.(a cowardly cop out that conveniently allows you to avoid unpleasant conflict whilst maintaining your saintly air of live and let live) becomes irrelevant, and you are forced to take a stand. Hypocrites such as yourself are part of the reason kids in south Modesto can't play at the parks near their homes because said parks have been taken over by drug dealers, beggars, and gangs, in part because NO ONE spoke up or did anything about it when the problem was small! No, it was easier to exercise their "choice" and go to another park. Well guess what? Now, there are NO parks for those kids to play in because they've ALL been taken over by undesireable and miscreants! Who, by the way, are merely exercising THEIR "choice" to be criminals. See how stupid that sounds?

Look rcalilaw, I'm not entirely unsympathetic to your views. I'm really not. But at some point, enough is enough. Laws are like dominoes. After the first few are allowed to fall and stuff is ignored because it's easier for the moment, it's all downhill from there. Eventually, it diminishes everyone's standard of life.

And Kimberly, give me a break. If you're a college senior, I'm Brad Pitt. Don't institutes of higher learning have entrance exams anymore? They did back in the day when I attended.

Listen! If panhandlers invade that parking lot then so be it..lol..don't like it, don't go! Your arguments are baseless and delusional! Though I feel you are currently running on one brain cell..I will try again to explain! YOU DON'T HAVE TO GO THERE, BUY THEM, OR EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE THEM..IF YOU DO IT'S YOUR FREAKING CHOICE...want to do something about it? Contact city hall..try and get an ordinance passed...your idiotic rants on this board are pointless. Still don't get what you're so wound up about..lol...and did you stop to think that maybe law enforcement has more important matters to tend to..other than dealing with an adult throwing a "bitch fit" in a parking lot because a young girl was mean to him/her? Besides, it looks like you handled yourself just fine
