The question remains - if women and gays can jump into someone's arms like this, who do str8 men jump into that can hold them?

NO ONE.

No wonder they are bitter.

Why does it make news every time some military person does something gay? Big deal. Guys have kissed each other after killing other guys for years. Ever study the Roman army?

Rome was founded in 753 BCE. I'm sure soldiers have been kissing their boyfriends long before even Rome was founded.(Why do you think on "The Flintstones" they sing "We'll have a GAY Old Time !" ?:))

That was back in the day when gay meant happy. I don't know why people started calling homosexuals gay. I mean, did anyone really think being homosexual really made them happier? Especially since gay people seem to complain about being bullied a lot.

Queer made more sense because it basically means weird and weird is determined by the majority and the majority is still straight. But the one name that made sense evolved into an insult and the one that made no sense evolved into the "correct vernacular".

I don't know many people here so I wouldn't know. It has some great get away spots for backpacking which is one of my favorite vacation to dos. Though their internet is a bit weird. It keeps trying to convince me I'm in "Glenville" which from my map is on the other side of the state. So, there's something queer about that.

This isn't an advancement. They have been doing it since pre-historic times. What you're doing is like saying the hammer is a modern breakthrough.

On the news they have been showing spouses throwing themselves onto each other when leaving planes or ships after combat since forever. I have a feeling this photo will be around a while and is our generation's version of the WW2 Times Square photo of the sailor kissing the nurse.

I am spending most of my time in Randolph which has kind of sucked because of the weather. Going back home to Chicago soon, which isn't the gayest place but it is a city so you can find any type of person you want within 3 blocks. So...
