I have already given tuns of links. That cannabis can cure many cancers is the most shameful secret of the medicine.
If you give the government the right to decide what is good for you, which is a form of socialistic nationalization of health, you can be sure the legal/illegal distinction will match dangerous/efficacious distinction. Privatize health and let serious competition develop among all the health technique, if you want your children healthy.
I don’t believe for a moment that cannabis can cure cancer ( I know too much of that issue to believe in simple cures ), however I have no doubt ( as I have seen it ) that it can help with the aftereffects of Chemo.

Legalize, tax it, generate some revenue- any money made is a plus in comparison to money spent fighting the drug war. Remove the stigma!! AND, if you develop a problem... Www.madistrict6.org

We don't need a third term for Obama, we need a third party. Instead of showing us that you are a liberal democrat one party terd, why don't you wake up as to who now is destroying the country.

Read the constitution before you post stuff like this, we won’t elect right wing moron, that can only gain votes by bribing the population with tax cuts

we have already seen what that gets us

I agree that Obama is only a mediocre president, that has not cleaned up the GOP mess nearly fast enough, we need someone that will be more aggressive than Obama

Drugs in general are very harmful. Achohol can't cause a cold turkey, but drugs in general can.
Sure, but a drug prohibition multiplies its dangerousness by a huge factor. Drugs are a problem since prohibition. Before, there was only incident, like with sulfuric acid, or some medication. With prohibition the state has become a drug dealer.

But it can. It took me time to believe this, but the evidences are overwhelming. Just take a look on the many links. Here are some:

Legalizing of Marijuana Raises Health Concerns: makes kids dumb.

. Today’s marijuana is much more potent: The mean concentration of THC, the psychoactive ingredient, in confiscated cannabis more than doubled between 1993 and 2008.

Increased potency may be having unforeseen consequences. The human brain’s cannabinoid receptors are typically activated by naturally occurring chemicals in the body called endocannabinoids, which are similar to THC. There is a high density of cannabinoid receptors in parts of the brain that affect pleasure, memory and concentration. Some research suggests that these areas continue to be affected by marijuana use even after the “high” dissipates.

“It’s much more potent marijuana, which may explain why we’ve seen a pretty dramatic increase in admission to emergency rooms and treatment programs for marijuana,” said Dr. Nora D. Volkow, director of the National Institute on Drug Abuse.“When we hear,‘Well, I smoked and nothing happened to me,’ we need to think about the context of when these people started to take it, how frequently they used and how active the marijuana was.”

The most disturbing new studies about early teenage use of marijuana showed that young adults who started smoking pot regularly before they were 16 performed significantly worse on cognitive tests of brain function than those who had started smoking later in adolescence. They performed particularly poorly on tests assessing executive function, which is responsible for planning and abstract thinking, as well as understanding rules and inhibiting inappropriate responses.

Nor do you keep having to tell us that you have no clue about anything when talking about a 3rd term

Take away the Tax cut bribes, and they would hardly get any votes at all.

No it hasn't. What does it cause to prohibit drugs, except start it from spreading? It would only make drug dealing legal.

The 3rd term reference was another candidate that will be Obama the third, sorry you didn't get it. I agree the politicians are bought. Romney told the truth that the middle class will have to pay and that all will have to pay more. Obama lied and the sheep sucked it up.

making pot legal will only increase more kids using it. That's all we need: more dumb kids walking around with their pants just above their knees.

You buy $20 worth of alcohol and overdose and kill yourself. You can use $200 worth of pot and just get stoned. There is an to the effects you receive no matter how much you smoke. You cannot hurt yourself using pot...in the sense of becoming toxic to your body.
