Really. How does that assertion explain the divorce rate.
However, it wasn't my point.
What is government interest in giving special rights to only certain friendships with a select number?
Smile.
<quoted text>
You didn't answer my questions.
1. What prevailing interest does the government have in granting rights and benefits to friendships?
2. On what basis does it limit those rights and benefits to only couples of any gender?
:-)
<quoted text>
1. I'm not referring to any court case. I'm asking what prevailing interest the government has in supporting and protecting friendships?
2. If the government extends support and protection to married couples and gay couples on the basis of friendship, what right does it have to limit it to only those types of friendships and two people?
sorry, i'm short on time right now so i'll be vrey brief.

1. if you're not referring to a court case, then there is no point in discussing as it is not a question before the court. the cases proceeding deal with Prop 8 and DOMA - and they are regarding same sex marriage, not friendship. stick to the topic.
2. friendship is not at question. legal marriage / legal binding contracts is the subject and the crux. stay on point here and focus. marriage, legally speaking, is a legally binding contract between two people.

You are playing irresponsible games.

Demanding we head down a road while ignoring the destination.

Not only do you once again expose the weakness of your argument, you expose the lack of character that goes with it.

Such a liar. Anyone interested can look back and see many posts where I used that line "Polygamy is not a fish" against the "Polygamy is a red herring" argument.
Exactly. And that's because you didn't know what the term "red herring" meant until I posted the link.

I support marriage equality. You do not. Why are you a polyphobic hypocrite?
So, you're in favor of gay marriage.
Good.

No need to. A circle is, by definition, flat.

I'm sure all your fans will suspend disbelief and agree that I didn't know what a red herring is.

I repeat loud and clear. Polygamy is not a fish. It is a form of marriage that deserves the same respect and consideration as SSM.

I support marriage equality. You do not. You are a hypocrite.

So it seems "it's a fish" is your best justification for why you are a hypocrite. I suggest you try harder. Much harder.

Wow, he's in charge of how many partners people can have? Maybe you should ask him if you could have one.

They did:

”The earth takes shape like clay under a seal.” Job 38:14

That would be flattend. Unless you're thinking God is a giant walrus that sat on the earth to make its shape.

What about the desire all men have to get a good BJ? They can't produce offspring that way. Are all men biological errors.

And even though you've never had sex, you've masturbated. Does that mean you are a biological error?
Oh, no!

1. You didn't address my question. Where the Bible specifically speaks of the earth, is says circle.

2. What you did do is give a partial quotation so you could give a false 'impression'. The context of the passage is speaking of the effect of light.

Job 38:12-15 (NJB)
12 Have you ever in your life given orders to the morning or sent the dawn to its post,
13 to grasp the earth by its edges and shake the wicked out of it?
14 She turns it as red as a clay seal, she tints it as though it were a dress,
15 stealing the light from evil-doers and breaking the arm raised to strike.

Why did you need to be deceitful?

A good BJ? Unnecessary adjective. Every BJ I ever got was a good BJ.

So far. And I want to keep it that way. So stay away from me toots.
