Quit your crying and take the pay cut. Everyone else has had to give something up. The only reason you have to give more is because you are over paid. If you cant live on what the company can afford, find another career. Of the three unions in the company, you are the only one who needs just a high school diploma. The rest of us had to go to school or the military to perform are jobs. Don’t make the rest of us suffer because you are under educated and stubborn.

are you kidding me? Can u live on making 16 k a year? you do know that the national poverty level is 17,700. Flight attendants are there risking their lives everyday, with inexperienced pilots and disgruntled mechanics, and you expect them to save your life in the event of an emergency ? again are you kidding me? by the way, many fa's have a college degree. If you honestly think that someone should go to this jo b, make that kind of money, be gone from home the majority of their life, miss all holidays with their family and make mc donalds salary, you must me smoking crack. get a life.

How inexperienced are your pilots? Give us some examples how you have risked your life with inexperienced pilots and disgruntled mechanics.

I disagree that the pilots or flight attendants are overpaid. And I also think that a group of short term non airline management took money they didn't deserve and ran. Unfortunately, that is not the problem. Many competitors are paying less than Delta and we can't compete at the present time. There will be a chance to find better ways of doing things in the next four years if we survive and a chance to renegotiate contracts at that time. Lets do what we need to save a once glorious airline.

Maybe if she had a crystal ball she would have. None of us know what's going to happen in the future with any of our jobs. It's not just the airline industry that's in trouble. Does the name Enron ring a bell? Many industries are having troubles along with those folks that work for those industries.

I think you're right on that one and it could go both ways. The truth is we are always thinking it is better somewhere else and often when we get there it gets worse than where we left.

Thanks, thats exactly what the company wants the current workers to do. Then they will go hire off the street even less educated people. You get what you pay for. At 18 thousand a year, lock your personal bags and watch your back. The operation will suffer. Only when ticket prices are raised to what they should be will workers salaries be safe.

How many of you are making 16k a year? Really? Did anyone else see the topout pay for Comair F/A's? Pretty high! The starting pay was low only because the IBT voted to cut the pay of new hires.

Actually, it is sad but I don’t think the public wants anything from the flight attendants. If you knock another $10 off the ticket price, they’ll bring their own peanuts and the skipper can open and close the door.

Seems like the whole industry is headed down the drain with no end in sight. It’s going to be great when Walmart buys a majority stake in NWA! Hey, what about pay toilets? Then maybe you’ll finally be able to get a glass of water in coach!
