Actually it is quite Illegal to carry a weapon loaded with hollow-points case and point
"The State of New Jersey does ban hollow-point ammunition -- sort of. It's legal to purchase it, bring it home, take it to the range and practice with it, bring any extra back home, etc. What isn't legal is for any of the very, very few individuals who hold carry permits in the state to carry firearms loaded with hollow points. Retired police officers (who are the only people who are routinely issued carry permits) cannot carry hollow points. Obviously, this means that they are carrying ammunition more likely to overpenetrate (and hit the baby carriage on the next block, for example.) Active police officers use hollow points on patrol, just as most police officers elsewhere do. "

I know the person shot by the police today, I grew up with him. I dont do anything illegal or share his lifestyle. But I saw how bad he was abused and neglected as a child before we went different ways. So unfortunately people who do this kind of stuff are our neighbors and children.

No matter what the situation, anytime some fool pulls a gun on a cop, they deserve to get their butt blown away, not questions asked.

It's so funny how these people that have guns think they are the marksman. So when the cops roll up they pull out a weapon(not trained) and expect to take out the cops. Yeah a few thugs get some lucky shots but most of the time they are the ones getting shot. To bad the cop didn't hit his target center-mass. In the military I was trained to shoot to kill. Center-mass baby. Hooah!!!! SSG U.S. Army.

1. Getting into drugs

2. Asking door to door on a street for drugs.

3. Doing it right next to a DUNKIN' DONUTS SHOP hello, why not do it right at the local town Police Station or State Police Barracks?

4. To top it all off, when a cop comes by aim a .357 at them.

STUPID STUPID STUPID. Could have had a V8. Glad the Officer and the others are OK, and by the way I also hope the shot crook recovers and gets themselves right and off whatever stuff they were into, but I am glad they didn't shoot the officer or anyone else and the police guy just did what he had to do.

5. Please tell me why I get shaken upside down in NJ before I can even look at a .22 to (legally) buy for target practice but fools like this seem to get whatever they want whenever as far as guns? Morons like this mess it up for everyone!

Yet another crime committed in Woodbury by someone from Camden. Does anyone else notice a trend? Woodbury better get rid of the section 8 and low income housing or we will be renaming it to "Hoodbury". And yes...I too feel sorry for the police. This could have had a very different ending.

I was severely abused while growing up. I have a job. I don't abuse my kids. I don't do drugs. These are all excuses for ignorance and laziness. Too many people think that the rest of us owe them something. We all may not have the same experiences growing up but once you are grown, you have choices. It's no one elses fault but his own that he now has two extra holes in his body. The sad part is that we, "the tax payers", are now going to have to pay for the investigation, his helicopter ride, hospital stay, court costs, and prison expenses. Something is really wrong with this picture.

That's the drama ya get when you let those crazy Camden people in town. And by the way the cop should have aimed a Lil higher. And you know the saying (crack kills) , a few more inches higher and it would have.

You sound real educated. If you are such an expert on cops, why don't you become one??? Let's see how you feel about the "pigs" when you need one. Oh that's right, you won't call them because you don't like them right????

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Cancer

It's a sensational Full Moon in your sign, combined with a lunar eclipse! Holy cow! However, once you accept that even the best-laid plans could go awry today, you'll find that life is a lot easier to cope with. Try your hardest to take everything in your stride, even if you do have to rethink an arrangement at the eleventh hour. At least it's never a dull moment! Do your best not to let the tensions of the day spoil what promises to be some spectacular New Year's Eve celebrations. It will be an opportunity to let off steam. Have fun!
