I think everyone form the office people to the floor workers are druggies and need to be drug tested by blood samples and not by urine where they can buy this crap to cover up their drig test.

How about a so called nurse, Tracy, who loves to get into bed with anyone she can get her hands on. Thought they weren't supposed to even speak to each other beyond a professional level?!

I know who you're talking about I was in from jan 31Th to 5th
very sick, she suggested that I abused pain pills because I took them every 4 hours. I wonder if she wanted for herself. After I was released had a call asking if I had any problems during my stay, I told them everything else was wonderful except for Tracy.

I trust these nurses because I've seen firsthand how professional they are. Perhaps your attitude and your addiction have caused them NOT to respect you. Just saying.

don't care what a patients attitude or drug habit is, they are still patients and deserve to be treated just as that a patient, not a jerk or druggie, if the patient is sick, they are sick, treat them with the same respect you give to other patients, treat them as you would want to be treated, keep your opinion of them out of your nursing and your opinion to yourself.

Dear No Name,
"Keep your opinion you yourself."....that's funny. Look at this topic!
Just so the PUBLIC knows, we do respect our patients. And love our profession. We wouldn't be there if we weren't dedicated to our profession.
Tell me, would you go to a job where you got spit on, cussed at, kicked, scratched, bitten and exposed to everything under the sun?
I do and Iam proud to be a nurse. If I said it doesn't get to me I'd be lying.
Next time you want to DAWG a nurse consider what we might be going through with 10 other patients. Oh. If we DID do drugs maybe I could forget some of the crap I have to tolerate....but I dont so that's why I can respond with certainty!

Yeaimanurse, just because a patient spits on you doesn't mean you have the right to treat te rest of your patients badly.

Perhaps all of us who have been patients should tell the hospital about nurses who don't use the hand leaner at the door, who ignore us when we ring the help bell for a good reason, who won't give us needed psin meds on time (are they letting all pain meds slip so they can nab a few for themselves?) or put just plain wrong info on charts. Then we might get better nurses.

If you meant hand cleaner I'm assuming you can see thru the walls? There is cleaner outside the doors AND sinks as well!
Accusing someone of stealing pain meds is a Heavy charge . matter of fact it's slander. I believe your name says it all " Party Girl"

Actually drug seekers that use the ER as a pain clinic shouldn't be treated the same. They should be told to leave and stop accruing mountain high bills they will never pay.

Didn't see anywhere Party girl said they were stealing pain meds. I believe she asked a question. Don't respond when you are too dumb to understand the rest of the posts.

I read it, and they clearly was not accusing. Now, a general assumption could be that they have included general implication; however, since the poster neglected any names, it would be an incorrect judgement of possible civil liability of libel.

To commit defamation, the poster would have needed to specify individuals in which they were possibly implicating of stolen medication. Further, there were no dates of the admission; therefore, nothing could be accurately addressed unless a formal complaint was made.

Lastly, slander/libel is civil, not criminal; therefore, not a "charge" of any kind.

Perhaps you should stop trying to play lawyer.

Have a nice day.
