I agree with you 100%. As a previous employee of the school I know first hand on what Tatyana and Eugene are about. They steal money from kids fundraisers and claim they use it for school supplies/ furniture. The principal of the school Arina Goldring is connected with Tatyana. Arina Goldring has been a teacher for about 3 years and all of the sudden became Principal, does anyone think thats appropriate to be a principal of a school with no experiance? The school it self is a fantastic the kids are great. Because of people like Tatyana and Eugene we as tax payers pay more and more money to the government for all the money they steal. Its about time for justice to be served.

Is that what you all want? For the school to shut down? Really? Would it not be better to just punish the guilty parties? I'm tired of reading things like: "It's a really good school, but I can't wait for it to shut down!" You have an issue with the founders, punish them, not the kids!

As I've been saying all along, the school will be shut down because there is nothing in place to "save" it. As soon as the founders are officially arrested and/or found guilty, the process automatically shuts down the school (not sure exactly when, but it will be closed). Again, Parents, stop acting stupid and arrogant, stop sniping at each other and blaming everyone under the sun, and GET PROACTIVE! Quit telling former employees to "get a life". Ivy students remain important to us because we care about them, even if we no longer work there. That's why we are telling you parents to wake up and find a way to reorganize, or do whatever you need to do to try for a new, reconfigured charter- before it's too late. BTW, it is often the case in charter, and other schools to promote teachers to an intern VP position after a few years of teaching. Arina is possibly one of the best things going for Ivy at this point. So stop the verbal abuse and figure out what you can do to help the school to survive post-Tatyana and Eugene.

My child has the best teachers and she loves going to school every day. Mrs. Goldring is very involved and proactive. I am very happy she is in charge of that campus! Huge difference in their academic and discipline programs since she took over. In terms of Tatyana and Eugene, if they are guily they will be prosecuted. I think current administration and teachers should write their own charter and take over Ivy. It would be unfair to close our school because of the founders.

i think sending my daughter to ivy academia was the best descision i have ever made. The student high scores should speak for itslef. WE should not jump to conclusions.

Forgive me if I sound ignorant, but what does their name have to do with anything?? And how did the democrats get mixed into this? What do the democrats have to do with approving Ivy's charter status? Isn't that decided by a board of appointed officials?

Ok, tell me what the appropriate approach would be to improving education in LAUSD?
