Review: Amerimex

Be very, very weary of this place. All I had was a simple oil change and they managed to not even do that right. When I brought my car in to another shop for a non related issue, the mechanic informed me that whoever did my oil change did not replace my oil plug gasket and it was leaking oil. Knowing that it had only been a couple of weeks since my last oil change i immediately went to Amerimex and asked them nicely to fix the problem. After going back and forth with them about their error and them telling me that it is not included in their oil changes among the many other excuses, I decided it wasn't worth my time. When any repair shop performs an oil change on your vehicle they should replace the gasket, especially if it is leaking. This piece costs less than $1.00. Please do not take your vehicle to this place even if it costs more money to go somewhere else.

I just brought my car in last week as several neighbors recommended this place and mentioned their oil change special. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The mechanic explained to me how bad my brakes were and how unsafe it was for me to drive this way. Their prices were very competitive and all work done in a timely manner. Thanks Amerimex!

These guys are very friendly and thorough. They explained exactly what was wrong with my car and found me ways to save $!! Not only did my car drive great but they even washed my car for free! I will definitely recommend Amerimex to friends/family. Whenever I drive by they are usually there until late and pretty busy- which tells me they know what they're doing.

this place is a bunch of scam artists. not only did they forget to put the oil filter on the car. they continued to pull it out onto the apron as the oil was leaking out of the motor while it was running. they also told her the front brakes were shot and that by law they cant let her leave the place without getting them replaced.the person there let her leave by signing a waiver (we live close). she comes home and tells me what has happened and i immediately pull the front wheels off the car and remove the brake pads. Mind you i am an ASE certified mechanic that works at a car dealer and a journeymen technician. both inner and outer pads on both sets of pads where about half way warn. not even close to the wear indicators.they also left the engine oil about 3 quarts low. the only reason my mother took it there was because they had an oil change special. I will never go there again and i have also put in a claim with the better business bureau.
