My child attended New River. It is an amazing school with a lot of caring faculty whose sole puropse is to make sure your child learns. It is a large school with a lot of students...but it is run very efficently.

Both of my children go to NRE. My son was in Kindergarten when the school opened. Theres about 7 class room for kindergarten. they most of two teachers. 1st grade only has 1 teacher. in kindergarten they have the restrooms in the class. Both my kids had Mrs.Williams and Ms.Hatcher. They are wonderful teachers. They all are. Just make sure once she gets into 2nd grade, do not let her get Mrs. Brown. That woman can not teach one bit. I'm having alot of trouble out of her. She calls me till 11 at night and 7 in the morning... Trust me.. Dont let her get her. Other than that, i havent had no trouble out of the school.

Very large school, my son is in 3rd grade and is doing well. I agree the school is very dedicated to learning and they do their best to minimize distraction and maximize education. There are of course teachers in every school that people do not like and NRE is no exception but overall a great school

You can register kids for next year's kindergarten class at NRE on Friday March 22nd at the Glen Jean Armory. Be sure you bring a Vital Statistics birth certificate and shot record. The teachers at NRE work very hard and they all love the kids. Good luck!

My oldest daughter has Ms.Brown in 2nd grade. My daughter has never had trouble with any of her teachers so far but this lady has turned my daughter against loving school. She will call really late at night for nothing really and she is always so negative.

My daughter has been going to New River since it opened. It is a wonderful school. You really don't have anything to worry about until your child gets to Collins. That school is Horrible!!!!!!

I have 2 children that attend there, and I love it as well, all the teachers are very good with the kids and there main priority is that your child is learning what he or she should be the only thing that I hate which isn't really a big thing it just aggravates me, is that I have stood outside the main door several times for about 5 mins before they let me in and what kills me about this is that the whole office staff as in the office doing nothing I could see if they where very busy or something but they weren't and not mrs. keith but the another lady was the only one in the office and she would not get up another time to let me in. an cause me to miss eating lunch with my son

Wow...that was uncalled for. Many of us like to take the opportunity to have lunch with our children on our day off. WORKING PARENTS who love their children enough to take a little time to have lunch with them. Obviously something that you just wouldn't understand. Either you have no children...or you don't put your children first.

Yes, it is a wonderful school but you are right about standing outside so long. I've been In there before picking my daughter up for a dr apt and have witnessed parents standing out there for quite a while, while they stand there and talk. One thing most parents dont know is, while you're standing out there, they hit a button which allows them to hear your every word while you wait and they listen to you complain on how slow they are. Lol, just wanted to share that...

I agree with you both as well. I enjoy eating lunch with my daughter and the kids actually love for their parents to come eat with them.
