I Do not mean this in a bad way i did not know the guy that lost his life and yes i agree what he was doing was wrong but he had family and i am sure friends that loved him no matter what he did and right now they feel as if their heart has been taken out just because they do wrong does not mean someone did not love them. I would be very careful what i say because the saying Karma is about the only right one in this world and it does come home, no matter what he was loved let this family have their space to get through this and no they will never get over it my thoughts and prayers go out to his family and all who knew him and also our police park rangers and Emt's that had to see what i am sure was a terrible sight once again.

Well the same thing is going to happen again. Even kids are taught not to stick anything in outlets or light sockets. People need to stop enabling stupid people. You see someone doing something stupid and dangerous and you let him and he gets killed, you should be charged with manslaughter. Simple enough. People watching people do these thing are no better than the ones doing them. Everyone that knew this man was going to do this and didn't stop it should be locked up. You know that family of that stealing suicidal idiot is hurting because of the people that let him do it. No one else's fault. Try that on for size. Be smart watch out for your family members, friends and maybe there won't be someone hurting because of stupidity. Care about each other and let me do the smart ass talk. It fits me better.

You are right but someone lost their life and everyone thinks it was because of something it wasnt. He had a job. He was trying to get the money to get him and his girlfriend a place to live so they could get out of oak hill. They boys were not stealing copper. He shot at the line playing around. He shouldnt have done it. But he dont deserve to be dead because of it. We all done stupid things at that age. People shouldnt judge others if they dont know the truth.

Man they were both good guys. That would help any one. You ppl need to stfu. They wasnt stealing copper they had been scrapping metal for extra cash. Not everyone lives off the system like most of you people prob do. It would kill some of you ppl to mind your own business and not talk sh*t bout others. No man on earth is perfect

Tell me this. For years now you have heard or read where thieves stole copper from the power company knocking out peoples electricity, sometimes for days. How did you feel about it then? Did you curse them? Did you pray that they be caught? Or,did you say they are good guys that just made bad decisions.

Said they shot the power line down. Same thing the Zink boy did a few years ago. The line had to be replaced by AEP so this line was not just laying on the ground and he just happened to step on it.

If they weren't stealing copper than how was them being there wrong? I have been on Beury mtn and never been in the wrong for just being there. Also, he needed money to get a place?(They were also supposed to haul scrap that morning)Sounds like you just dimed them out. Sometimes it is better to say nothing because the police do read topix and it will give them a reason to investigate more closely.

how would you feel if it was your son, brother, or friend? You need to have respect for his family and quit the childish bull$hit. I knew him and his family, and reguardless of what he was or wasnt doing he was my friends son and the poor woman is grieving the loss of her only son. Grow up!!

The point is the guy or guys shouldn't have been stupid but no one deserves to die but people don't think nowadays! I wish they could do a genetic test when people are born to check if they're pre destined to make bad life choices a sterilize them!

I hope the next time your son daughter sister or brother does something stupid they end up in jail or dead. You people need to get a hobby. Where you there? No! Where the cops there? No! The boy did shoot the line but it wasnt to steal coppe. And read the above statement from "truth" it said they had been scrapping is that illegal? No. You can find junk anywhere! These kids have families who care about them. Why dont you people stay off topixs and worry about your own families and business. Regardless if they were right or wrong no one deserves what happened. And for the record have any of you idiots read the police report? Because i am a family friend and i have read it. Its under investigation. Which means the police are unsure of what happen. The news even changed the story two differwnt times.

These other idiots on here want to make electricity in live power lines more safe so dumb asses do get electrocuted when they shoot the lines down. They are going to have to add caution signs around power lines saying "caution shooting lines down with rifles can and usually causes death by electrocution." Here's you sign dumbass.

They could have been getting high or drinking or looking for scrap. Does it matter what they were doing? The point is the one that is alive is going to jail because the one who is dead shot a power line. Both familys lose a son! So no matter what they KIDS were doing it is sad. And like someone else said scrapping junk is not illegal. If they were trying to make extra money so what? That dont make them bad kids.

The power line didn't fall on its own. Second, the copper in the lines belonged to the power company which supplied power for something. Which when he shot it down discontinue power somewhere because they were stealing copper idiot. Ask the Zinc boy on 61 about it. Oh you can't because that idiot died the same way moron. Shut up until you know what's going. You are assuming the boys were playing around when they were stealing scrap from a power line that was active or he wouldn't have died. It's going to be a very easy investigation. Bullet, Rifle, Down Power Line, Dead Idiot. Case closed.

Look you dumb fu*k i know a lot more about this case then anyone on here. Trust me they were not stealing copper. Get you sh*t straight before getting on here downing people that you dont effing know. The boy worked for the park service. Im pretty sure he knew what would happen if he shot a power line. It was an accident. So do me a favor go get Fu*ked you lonely pathetic piece of sh*t. God i would never wish death on anyone. But i must say i hope somethig happens to your sorry azz. They people have families. Im guessing your own family is screwed up or torn apart because if you gave a sh*t about family you wouldnt be on here saying the stuff you say.
