Also if your life was a train wreck, you have to take responsebility for it being that way and changing it. Loads of bad evidence, if you consider it all and not pick and choose the parts you like. Doesnt the bible condone, murder, slavery and all kinds of other crimes against humanity? Where is your evidence? You say its because of what god has done for you? Try and put yourself in the place of a starving child in ethiopia, a dying child ravaged by a disease or the parent witnessing this, so why has god helped you, that i will assume you are not starving, probably have a house and cars? Everybody seems to just look at life from their own perspective, what about the humans that were locked up and starved and murdered during the holocaust? Where was or is the need the greatest, helping you straighten out your self caused train wreck or a starving child??

Honestly, I can't say that I have all the answers to the reasons why these things happen. The Bible teaches that God's ways are not our own. We cannot even begin to fathom the workings of Gods grand design. This is where faith comes in.

I noticed you kept stating in previous posts that "it's all a fairy-tale and not real". What makes you so sure it's not real? How do you know that's a fact?

Bad evidence? ROFLMBO! That's just your opinion; not ALL MEN'S! SMH!
You aren't going to notice Satan giving you any trouble at all until you try to start living for your Heavenly Father. That's when you will know where you've come from!
You have to think w a spiritual mind in order to gain the knowledge you seek.
I am not really seeking knowledge, in a spiritual sense, but always seek knowledge in the common sense, real world sense. I am perfectly happy with the natural order of life and find no comfort in allowing myself to believe myths and fairy tales. I dont want to be stuck anywhere forever. Why would anyone? If you really think about it, most people get bored on an extended vacation, let alone for eternity, what do you think you will do for eternity? After you are stuck there for thousands of years, how will you escape? Remember you are already dead, suicide is not an option, i would bet after several thousand years you will wish you would have been an athesist and just be dead with the rest of us??? Also i know where i came from, and that would be out of a vagina, just like most other mammal species.

For those who go to Heaven, our minds will be renewed. We will not have the same mindset as we do now; nor will we remember our passed life here on earth, nor the troubles and sin thereof. But those who reject Christ will find themselves in Hell - tormented not only physically, but mentally, as they will be able to remember everything they done to earn themselves the place they are in for eternity. And I believe that the biggest torment of all would be remembering all those times someone tried to tell you about God and Jesus Christ and refusing it.

So what is the point of going, one year turns to a thousand, then a million, maybe a billion, what do you intend to do with all your time, or does time not exist there? Also where is any proof that heaven or any gods at all are real? Do you think that heaven and hell are currently functioning and occupied? ALSO will christians be able to have sex in heaven? Will they allow masterbation? If not, what just sit around all day? Jobs, chores, just trying to figure out how to stay busy for enternity?? Any suggestions?

I dont claim to know that for a fact, nobody can, also nobody can claim heaven, hell or any gods are real. Its just my opinion and to me more likely than not?

Friend, you are trying to understand Heaven in a physical nature. Heaven is spiritual. One cannot apply physical attributes to something that is purely spiritual. As I said before, the Bible states that in Heaven, you will be a new being. The sinful urges as well as the innocent needs of this physical body your in right now will no longer exist. I do believe both Heaven and Hell are real and occupied this very second.

I have told you that I have proof, as does every believer but of course that will go in one ear and out the other until your own self shares such an experience!
You of course want to insist that we are "lying" or believing in fairy tales! In reality, we know you are just blinded by the God of this world! ;)

Many years ago a preacher asked the question 'Do you have a personal relationship with God'? The phrase caught on quickly and now all Christians proclaim that they do indeed have this personal relationship.

How nice it must be to have an imaginary father that will listen to all of your issues. Discussing issues is helpful but it's not God responding,it's just your common sense coming up with solutions. The human brain is an amazing thing if we learn to use it.

Christians simply cannot accept the fact that when they die they are dead. They believe God is not only watching them every second of the day but also reading their thoughts every second of the day, hence if they praise God every day they will surely be assuring their place in heaven. Good luck with that but I am grateful that someone is not watching me 24/7. Privacy is nice.

Well penguy,, i will comment that you do seem intelligent, also there are lots of debates on you tube and the debaters on both sides are very intelligent. I always seem to think the free thinkers always make more sense. I am courious if you have ever listened to both sides and your opinion?People such as Sam Harris, Richard Dawkins, or the late Christopher Hitchens

By the way, where did the free will go to?? Suppose after death i really dont care to go anywhere, hell is probably a little warm, and not very excited about spending eternity in heaven, just dont really appeal to me, well not the christian heaven, islam and the virgins, would be nice for a while, even that would get old. Is it an option just to be dead? and just stay dead?

I can believe that if we live a sin free life our minds can achieve a state of heaven here on earth. Likewise if we live a sinful life then our minds may exist in a state of hell also here on earth. It is indeed spiritual. Our reward would be peace of mind on earth. Still when we die we are dead.

The problem with that is there is no way you can live a "sin-free" life in this body. The Bible teaches that our best efforts are but filthy rags to God. Here is where the faith in Jesus Christ is needed. He was the propitiation for our sinfulness.

Again, what you think or what you'd favor to do in the life after is totally irrelevant. God provides eternal life for all people, either in Heaven or Hell. No matter what you want to believe or say, favor or not favor.

Friend, just because you don't believe that God isn't watching you, doesn't mean that He isn't. God is everywhere at all times. The Bible tells us that we will stand before Him one day to give an account of our lives.

So God has stacked the deck against us at birth? So there is no way we can please him? Convince all men that they are all sinners so they feel guilty and will ask God for forgiveness? If a starving man steals a few crumbs of bread he is bound for hell? If he ask God for forgiveness on his deathbed will he cancel out his life of sin? That's what the preachers wants us to believe. Presto they have just saved another soul on his deathbed. How great they are. We should forget everything we have been taught about religion from the time we were infants and try to live a guilt free life. We will be much happier.

I really wish you weren't so defensive and give God a chance to move in your life. I can promise you, you won't be disappointed.
