Doesn't look like any stores in WV to be closed (at least not at this time).

I don't think the kmart in oak hill would ever close but I do know that they need to step up there game & get more cashiers because I've seen numerous people walk out because of it . They really need to fix that ASAP

I like the Oak Hill store, but everytime I shop there there is a delay in getting checked out. I spend more time in the checkout line than I do shopping, especially when I buy something from electronics.

I wish the store was more successful as I prefer a smaller store to Walmart, but it needs to make some big changes. For starters, it charges way too much on a lot of items. Why would I pay $35 for the newest blu-ray at Kmart when Walmart is selling it for $20? I notice a lot of toys are marked up quite a bit more than what Walmart charges too. And nobody shops Kmart for groceries. They should just get rid of that section entirely.

Has any of you been in the Beckley store lately? It was a horrible mess the last time I was in there. You can't find anything. They need to get organized.

I rarely shop at sears or k mart.

A few years ago I was buying 600 bucks of really needed tools at sears, and got into a 45 minute wait to check out, because sears was pushing their credit card. When it was my turn I stated no card, please just check me out. the cashier continued to try to get me a card, so I said call a manager. I asked are you a merchant? or credit card provider? No matter I am not buying anything here ever again, and walked out.

KMart tried to force me to use self check out which I refuse to do, so I left a cart of stuff there, ansd called the complaint number.....

my goal when at a register is quick check out not doing a self check out or messing about somebody wanting me to get a credit card.....

sears and kmart can close for all i care i dont shop in them, except some occasional lifetime tool exchange

the sears store in erie, pa seems like a viable possibility for future consideration to close. It is in a mall and I've seen water leak from the ceiling in their home improvement department plus the air conditioning sometimes isn't on during the summer. This is also a full line store, and being on upper peach street it has numerous competitors. store appearance in general is abhorable and rundown looking.

I wonder how long sears at bellevue center will last, considering its the last anchor

I wouldnt buy the blu ray from Walmart either. Best buy is always the cheapest for my blu ray purchase and they match anyones price. Walmart only matches with ad and no online prices, not even there own.

To me it sounds more like customer over drama. Every store that has a credit card will offer them but I think you was just upset over wait and was over dramatic about pushing the card. Also a store has to push lines as quick as possible just like mcdonalds and making you pull forward to wait on your meal. They have times to keep or the sales clerk and store ends up in trouble. Using the self checkout is a lot quicker and simpler and will help your local store get people through quicker and stay open longer. Walmart does it all the time but there employees are the worst ever and Kmart is gold compared to them. It may take you 10 minutes to get through a line at kmart with only one line open but at walmart it will take you at the least 15 minutes with 30 lines open and 2 people per checkout. There employees are not smart or just lazy. Respect those who are trying the best they can and doing the job they were told. If you dont like it shop online
