i think we need to open up to this be cause it would help with the drug problems here!! i see all the time pill heads and the gov fights the pot that is dumb it is a win win be cause it would get rid of some drug dealers and plus make jobs since they are closing the coal mines around w.v and the tax we will get out of it would pay for r.d and schools to up grade i mean come on now are we that blind be cause i have never seen or heard of anyone that has died of it but how many people do you know that has passed away from pills this year alone and you can go to a doctor and get them plus it helps with pain so that would cut down on the pain pills that are around so can anyone tell me the down fall of it?

How do you know that's why he got shot? Just because he had some, doesn't technically mean that is why he got shot.

Unless you were there, you wouldn't really know the reason. It could have been something personal or anything, so do not automatically say he got shot over marijuana.

<quoted text>That's an even better reason for legalizing it. Not only does it stop the funding for drug cartels it puts the thug gansta types out of the picture also.
Legalizing weed means you may buy it from an authorized licensed dealer. Only difference would be you pay a tax on it.

ive never heard of a weed head breaking down a door to kill or rob someone for a joint . but pill heads will do anything ! steal from their mom dad brother anybody . weed might bring in extra money. but untill you get rid of the pills the pill heads and the doctors who push them . its not gonna fix anything ! and to clean it up youll have to start in charleston and good luck with that

Backwoods heathen you are 100% correct, the drug problem is so bad legalization is the only way to control it and lower the crime rate. The only way to do that is in Charleston, but we need to get rid of all politicians, dems and Repubs. That will never happen because if the crime rate drops even by 50% all the cops, judges, lawyers and others in law enforcement will all have to find a real job,we wont need most of them.Truth2 says that theres more unemployment, poverty and more on welfare because of legalization, thats not true. The reason is because of the massive influx of illegal immigrants, which is what the Dems want because it insures them around 10 millions votes even if it is destroying Social security and is the cause of nearly half of the crime rate in the US.Obama got 80% of there vote and since there children cant speak english they get SSI,wonder why SS is going broke.Wake up America and spread the word.I used to vote 90% democrat most of the time but never again,we should never vote on party lines but on a mans merrits, excuse the spelling.

Yes it would but there would still be some that would illegally grow and sell their own, same as moonshiners that make and sell their own. These people would keep law enforcement and the courts busy.

<quoted text>The law in the states where it is legal is you can grow a few plants. You aint ever going to grow what these people are with the THC content without spending a bunch and having a grow house with all kinds of stuff. You can make so many of gallons of moonshine, home brew. Doesn't kill that market now does it Daisy?
