We just blame the ref, coaches and anyone else that we can think of for our shortcomings. Makes us feel better till this time next year. You'll got a great team..Be Proud...Be Loud.

The sun was shining and so were the lights at the Civic Center when Jack F. showed his mentality and acted like a big JERK by shoving an opponent. Congrats Jack you won the TOTAL JERK AWARD of this years state tourney.

He should've been taken to the locker room for that kind of behavior.

Don't be too harsh on Flournoy. I was isolated on
their confrontation and he was receiving some
pretty sneaky shots. He still should have kept his head and retaliated in a more suptle way.
As he matures, he will hopefully learn this.

Re: Jack His elbows were going like ninety before this ever happened. Also anyone that acts like that will never mature, even with age, until some one puts him in his place. No excuse for his behavior. He is not someone to be proud of. I hope my grandchildren do not act as he did. That is just my opinion, some may think he was justified.

After I've seen both teams play, I think WE had it coming to them. They are dirty with their players so I don't think anyone needs to get on Jack's case. Any SOPHOMORE who can get BOB HUGGINS himself to come watch him play has some talent and obviously knows how to play the game.:)

...dirty with their players, what are you talking about? If he doesn't change his attitude, I doubt very seriously if Huggins, or anyone else, will want him.

Good for Jack. Maybe he can take those elbows to WVU and swing them around. I am sure he will meet his match one day. You know the saying. What goes around sometimes comes back to bite you in the butt. Also I have watched WE play and they may be
cocky sometimes but I have not witnessed a player intentionally try to knock someone down. Maybe Huggins was watching and it may be the type of players he is interested in.

Wow.. U guys didn't see WE physically all over those boys?! You guys are as blind as the refs were! You've never seen anyone from East intentionally knock down another player?! That's why they tackled OH players multiple time when they got a break aways.. And please tell me how Huggins was watching when he's in NY getting ready for another win.. You guys are sooo smart. I'm not sayin that it was right for Jack to do it, but he's what 15, 16 years old?! They wouldn't get off him the whole game and he got sick of it.. He will be ok.. And you doubt Huggins or anyone else will want him?! Bahaha ridiculous.. Also, even though he's extremely cocky I gotta give it to Muscari.. He's good.. Just curious where's he goin next year?

Ok, I get the point. You've talked about this in two forums and mentioned JF in two posts for this forum. I understand your point, but I've lost my cool playing sports before. Sometimes you get frustrated. It's not right to push people or show bad conduct, but many have done it. The refs did a great job today and I'm sure if they felt he needed to sit the whole game they would have tossed him. He will mature with age. WVU is looking at him and I promise if he does go to WVU that he will not get away with bad conduct if Huggins is coaching. He will be seating on the bench or get kicked off the team. JF will be fine. He just has to mature. Remember he is a sophmore.

Good Lord, enough rollover rock city. I'm sure you've never displayed any poor conduct in anything you've done. I mean a 15, 16 teen getting frustrated and acting out, I've never heard of such a thing. lol. I hope you run into JF someday and he hits you with an elbow. Goodness, chill out!!

Why can't it be what it is without all the bickering? East played one heck of a game the first half, and Oak Hill played one heck of a game the second half. Both teams played hard. Both teams are talented. Why do people need to trash teenage kids?? They all played their heart out! ALL of them, both teams. It was a good game. And it was the two teams playing that deserved to be there...#1 & #2. I hate to see either team being trashe talked about. It's not right. and for Champz2010, Huggins came to Oak Hill earlier, during regular season, to look at Jack and Kalif. Please stop trash talking these kids, whether you are from East or Oak Hill. They all played hard today. Congrats to both teams.

I'm sure your a Wyoming East fan. Well, JF and company whooped your team and you can't stand it. There is nothing that you can say to take away from Oak Hill's win. The refs did great, WE played hard, but Oak Hill wanted it more. WE shoved OH, OH shoved WE. That is championship basketball. I don't support poor conduct, but it happens.

JF comes from a wonderful family. I know many of them. Matter of fact we have a couple of his cousins coming up now at East. He is a hothead! I have never seen his 9th grade cousin ever act that way in a game..EVER! Tell me this, if a kid is as you say getting ran over and cheap shotted during a game, arent they coached on what to do? Just shows what I said on the WE forum. Your coach has NO CLASS! If one of our boys had got that pissed dont you think Rory would have at least set him down to cool off... Go ahead and say NO but yes he would. I watched him set Marcus down yesterday because he got alittle too "mad". He talked to him, let him cool off, and then put him back in.

Also since OH seems to know it all, Why would Huggins be interested in ANY sophmore?? Thats stupid! He might be taking notes on who to watch later but my lord WVU is in their own tournament right now. They arent worried about an OH sophmore with a huge chip on his sholder. Thats ok, Yall will be good next year, and SO WILL WE. Andrew, Chase, Marcus, Luke and the rest of the team will see you next year! Im sure we will have a few more heated games.

All anger aside, you guys did outplay us second half...Congratulations...until we meet again!

Dear Oak Hill Resident (with Beckley beside name Haha not being mean just kinda funny) I'm sorry if u felt I was trash talking about any of the kids. I was simply stating that the comments left by rock city and whoever else were crazy due to their nature.. Btw I was at the game when Huggins and Bolen (MSU) and the 2 big huge guys from MSA were there.. This I know. They said that he wouldn't go anywhere because of his attitude and that's totally false. I've known him since he was in 7th grade (by my lil sis) and he's one of the nicest kindhearted respectful kids I know around here. Especially when I run into kids his age every single day that are addicted to drugs and have 3 or 4 kids run around. The comment bout huggins was just my mountaineer pride.. I do have to disagree with the referee statement, I thought they did equally horrible both ways.. Well, the 2 were a mere okay but the dark headed bigger guy was terrible.. I agree that both teams played their best and that OHHS came out on top when it mattered most.. I'm just sick of ppl runnin their mouth about OHHS boys when every team has ppl that get hyped/cocky/hot headed.. They are teenagers

Kalif! Thats the one I would have expected him to be watching. I have to say it was painful for me as an East fan but that boy can play! My son, a future warrior ball player, was absolutley amazed at that kid! Good Luck to you Kalif, I believe your going somewhere!!
