Look around Mr.Mess, most of the pill popping fools around here are white. I didn't know this young man but he seems to be loved by many people. Look on SRJ sometime. Every page is filled with white druggies..And by the way, I am also white.

For those sayin, "everyone that knew him".. First of all.. We can speak for oiurselves. He will be missed? By those who purchase drugs from him maybe. A good guy, really? I forget.. Having pics on twitter smokin weed, and pics of guns make you "gangsta" these days. Fake ass thugs. Listen, you deal drugs... You end up in jail or dead. And he's had his jail time. Those who are saying how great of a guy he was, you need to look in the mirror. Like "gibson", we know you are all drug abusers, that will never have a real career or amount to anything. As I see it.. One less worthless man off the street. Don't worry oak hill.. You'll have many other "thugs" step up and sling drugs.

Respect,? If you love someone.. And you are all great friends? Why let them go down that road? I agree. I'm sorry for his family and their loss. I apologize. We all know what him and his group of friends are about. They know the consequences.they chose this route. Hard to feel sorry for these fake thugs that act so hard.

OAK HILL -- A Fayette County man said he shot a friend in the face when a gun he was holding unexpectedly discharged Thursday, police said.

Police didn't buying that story and charged Terreque Alj Gray, 23, with first-degree murder in the fatal shooting of Maurice McCain, 26, according to a criminal complaint filed in Fayette County Magistrate Court.

At about 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Oak Hill Police Department officers were called to 201 Highlawn Ave. in regard to a shooting.

Oak Hill Police Lt. J.L. Kirk spoke to Gray, who said he accidentally shot McCain inside the house, according to the complaint.

Gray said he was holding a gun as he went to sit down on a chair. McCain, Lindsey Smith and Jonathan Fruit were sitting on a couch nearby.

Gray said as he placed the gun on his left leg it accidentally went off, striking McCain just below the left eye, according to the complaint.

Kirk entered the house and saw a gun lying partially out from underneath the couch and a large bag of marijuana beside the victim, according to the complaint. Paramedics rushed McCain to Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, where he died Thursday night.

Kirk said in the complaint that the gun discovered, a .40-caliber Sigma handgun, is designed to not accidentally discharge. Officers looked at Gray's leg and allegedly saw no injuries related to gun recoil or gun residue.

"Based thereon Terreque Gray did purposefully take the life of Maurice McCain," Kirk said in the complaint.

Gray was being held in Southern Regional Jail without bail Friday.

They're both felons...they shouldn't have had guns in the first place. If they were law-abiding citizens this would have never happened. End of story.

No matter what happened, a life was taken and a family is mourning the loss of their loved one. We should all be respectful to this family regardless what your opinion may be. I did not know either party involved nor their families but I do pray for peace and comfort for them all.

Its sad that a family is suffering. However.. If they are felons, sellin drugs, and carryin' guns.. The street is better off. They shouldn't put their family through all this. They chose that lifestyle. That's what happens. It catches up with you. For those takin' up for him. You should stand back.. And straightin' your life up too. I'm sure you are addicted as well. It truly is sad, that people don't want a better life. They won't be able to harm others now.
