Great staff. Dentist is trustworthy. Great facility. I am referring all my friends and family here.

Nice office. All the staff members take time to explain everything wether it's a billing question or question about treatment. Im very pleased with the dentist.

This dentist is the best I have ever been to. He has done everything and anything to help my family with flexible payment options. He really cares about his patients.

I took my kids here. Dentist works real well with them and also the front desk watched over my kids while I was in the chair. The dental work is good I have no complaints and they Are in network with my insurance.

My husband had been going to Platinum Dental in Oak Harbor, for years until this year. He stopped going because of poor customer service and the way they took advantage of him. They refuse to give our money back,$490.50 for dental services they have NOT given to my husband. I went in there today to ask for the money back and was treated extremely poor. They started yelling at me,(I was already nervous as hell, for those of you that know me, you know how anxious I get when confronting someone.) because I was stuttering and flubbering my words all over the place. It was difficult to get words out between Dr. Lai screaming at me, quite literally jumping up and down and beating the counters while his staff (Mostly Evelyn, his wife) were being snarky and rude. I kept trying, and yeah, probably raised my voice, but definitely wasn't yelling. Standing there watching Dr. Lai, I saw an angry gorilla pounding the ground, jumping up and down. I'm not kidding folks, he literally did! Jumped up and down, screaming and pounding his fist into the counter.#5 and a friend of ours were both with me, watching him in disbelief.
First, they wanted me to take down my unfavorable rating I gave them because of this incident, in order for them to give back the money. I agreed to it, I'm happy to take it down and move along my way, if they refund the money. That's all I wanted. I said so. He said the check will be in the mail as soon as it comes down. I told him I would rather walk out with the check. He said he wouldn't write it until the review came down, I whipped out my phone and said "it's coming down, write the check." Then Evelyn proceeded to tell me that I will be giving the insurance company the money they are giving me, to settle their debt to them as well. I disagreed, telling her that they owed both the insurance company and my husband the money both parties already gave them for a service not completed.
Dr. Lai came out again, saying that this is going nowhere, just give the money back to us, in exchange for me posting a 5 star review on them. I declined. Flat out. Taking down a negative review because both parties came to an agreement is perfectly acceptable to me. Extorting a FALSE review from me is not going to happen.
I cannot believe the temper tantrum I saw from Dr. Lai today. Talk about a giant 3 year old. I'm glad my husband and four of our children are no longer giving them our business.
If any of you are ever in the need of a dentist, I absolutely recommend to stay COMPLETELY away from Platinum Dental. Bad customer service, bad dental work (Dr. Lai broke Mark's tooth further, causing a need for extended services and oral surgery.) just bad everything, all over. My advice, stay away and spread the word to your friends you care about.
