Recent Flooding In Eudora, Ark.

What is to be done about the flooding situation for the citizens and businesses that live within the city. It is the cities responsibility to make sure drainage ditches and manholes are cleaned and free of trash! If these things would have been done. The Dollar General Store would not have lost the amount of Merchandise that they did! The City of Eudora Fire Department was apparently told to sandbag the buildings and homes that would be threatened. I personally advised the Eudora Police Department that the Dollar General Store had 16" of rain in the parking lot and about 1" was in the store. They should have taken sand bags over there and stacked up about 2 feet to make sure the doors were secure! But NO! They didn't put any sandbags on any of the businesses in Eudora! WHY? I don't know! They didn't have but about 6-10 homes that needed sandbagging and it didn't take 1500 sandbags. The Office of Emergency Services Coordinator for Chicot County, delivered 1500 sandbags to the City of Eudora Fire Department Chief: Bunn! Did he use them? NO! he used about 150 and they were tired and couldn't bag about 25 more and save the area businesses! NOW the Dollar General Store is threatening to close down, because the City will not create a better water flow to keep water out of the building every time it rains. This is the second time the store has suffered a loss! I hope that the Future will be better!

Look at who we got as Eudora Fire Department Chief, thats one of the main reason why thing dont get done, the man wants to be the boss hog of everything but to lazy to do anything or either he don't know how to. Have you ever just listen to the way he talks, very errogant and disrespectful. He rides around all day everyday doing nothing on the city time knocking on females doors, asking for sex, when he should open up his mouth and help clean the streets of Eudora from trash, It's enough of your bullshit I'm surprised that your not a preacher like your no good brother. Please change your attitude for the sake of your jobs, and the people who thought of you in a good way, but come to find out, you're not right about alot of things you should do, but your not doing, check yourself before you wreck yourself. So why don't you be a little smarter this time and get your volunteer group and fill the rest of the sandbags now and already have them ready for business and homes. We can not afford to lose anymore business here in Eudora, because of your stupidity or laziness. I'm sorry if you are upset about this comment but no one else have the guts to tell you the trusth about yourself, but it is, what it is. In my first post i had advised that there was 16" of rain in the parking lot and 1" in the store....I was mistaken...There were 5" in the store and 20" in the parking lot...The city came in and photographed all the damage. But i have recently talked with the manager and she said that they were not going to get reimbursed for damages. Because the Mayor wouldn't declare it disaster...Now we have a Fire chief and a Mayor that need to GO!
