Somethings missing - Oh yeah, the threads!

I don't know what happened, but it happened EVERYWHERE, in every Forum. I'm going to try to find out what happened. There is a way to get old threads back. If you know the name of the thread, or the partial name, google it and it should come up.

For example...

I'm going to go thru all of my recent edits and bring them back by posting in them. If everyone will check their home page and post in all of the threads they recently posted in, that will bring them back too. Consensus is that there is a glitch, and they should come back. We'll see.

No, I do not get paid for being a Topix Editor. Sad but true!

I found Topix in December '07 when I was looking for articles about the apartment fire on 159th & LeClaire. I thought this would be a great way to keep current on Oak Forest events and talk to other residents. This forum wasn't exactly 'hopping', so I decided to apply to become an Editor.

As for the amount of time spent on here, I read some of the comments people post, but it seems like there are others that spend more time on here than I do! I spend a few hours a week maybe...most of the time looking for articles to post, and then a bit of time on other forums. My post count goes up in the winter...summers I try to be outdoors as much as possible.

I've noticed some of your posts on this forum...thanks for keeping it alive!
