i don,t know about haunted but plenty of people commited suicide or attemted it thats why there are barracade lined up so you cant get up speed to fly off the cliff and it was a make out place also

i went there last night with 3 friends it was scary walked to the end and when walking back noticed a black figure moving side to side along road to fast for any person to walk and when they got up by the railroad tracks just stood there and watched us we ran as fast as we could to our truck and speed off i never belived in this stuff befor untill now

I'm with ya on that. I was with you that night. I'm about 80% sure that it was the farmer because why would the ghost chase us like that if it was just one of the drag racers??? I know our minds weren't playing tricks on us because all 4 of us seen the very same thing. That was pretty crazy though. I want to go back there with a video camera & a digital camera & see what I can come up with. I also kinda wanna do some research on it. I've heard that some people go back there & never come out...Is that true????

out of my forty years i never heard of people going in and not coming out unless they commited suicide they came out in a body bag or where picked up at the bottom of the bluff

wow really idk its scary but we went a few more times and saw nothng last time we heard a few noises but nothing more the goast group broke up and me and kevin are still together i am happy yet crushed no more late night goast hunts ....i love you kevin

Listen you guys, I've lived on this road for 26 years. No farmer killed his family, there are no ghosts (other than those made up in your mind)and there was only one suicide about 20 years ago when some goofball couldn't cope with life and decided to end it. How selfish!

It used to be an apple orchard and DuPont had a dye manufacturing plant just to the north. That's it and nothing more.

you are wrong with one suicide the one you talk about is a girl and that was 30 years ago and she was upset and had a fight with her boyfriend there were more then one i been around for over 48 years and remember 2-3 if not more as for the rest you say it is true

Where is this barracade? is that what that is at the dead end or do you have to go into bender park to see it?

I've heard lots of creepy things stories about Fitzsimmons. The roadblock at the end of the cliff says "You are dead" in bold black spray paint. My brother (20 years old) has been down there with a few friends, and he never saw anything bad but he said the feeling was just overwhelming. Like someone was watching him. I'm going down there with a friend in a few weeks. Shit scares me.

I was just there today and there was a memorial on Fitzsimmons and freshly smashed car parts. A cross and a letter was weighed down with a detached visor. The letter was written by a girl to her brother wishing him final peace. Any body hear anything?

So me and my boyfriend have heard the story once, and we decided to check it during the day first...
Two days ago, me and my boyfriend easily walked to the cliff no problem, walking back about 200ft from rail road tracks I instantly got a nose bleed in my left nostril, I have never had one in my life. I got back to my house, took a nap, I had a very strange dream, I was visiting a cemetery, then I was at someone’s house helping them with one of their kids. Next thing I remember I was on the couch, then I was on the floor watching the door way scared for my life, then a kid crawling on their hands and knees very fast attack me, all I remember is their black eyes. I then woke up, and was in shock that I was in my house.
So then today me and two of my girlfriends decided to go at night, not thinking of what happened before with the nose bleed and the dream. We picked up my boyfriend and first we went to oak road, because we heard that was another haunted one, we walked thought all of it no problem, we go to Fitzsimmons we had no problem past the tracks we got about 200 ft from where it turns into massive trees and all four of us at the same time said we had the feeling of going back. My boyfriend felt the same but he felt drawn to it. Me, I was drawn to it as well, we both kept walking my friends stayed behind, all of a sudden I was walking and my vision focused onto this dark area, more like tunnel to one pinpoint, I felt a heavy pressure on my shoulders, like I shouldn’t keep going. But my legs kept going, I was so zoned on that one spot.
My boyfriend walking a little behind me he stopped all of a sudden because he got the chills left to right only on his back. He pointed the flashlight to the left then dead center, and he saw a figure, white, glossy about 3 feet tall, in the blink of an eye it was gone. I was still walking drawn toward the black, I kept getting closer I saw these two black things, not sure if they were figures or what. But as soon as he said that he said "babe" according to him I didn’t hear that, he caught up to me and said "babe, lets leave" and it startled me. The whole time I was walking I felt in my eyes like I was about to cry, walking back I got really sad. Once we hit the tracks the shoulder heaviness went away, but once I touched my car door, I instantly felt weak. We got back home after that night dropping off my friends and he told me I was walking weird, I said what you mean. He said I was walking in a straight path with my arms straight at my side about 10 inches from my waist with my palms facing the ground, he said almost like I was leaning on something. To this day I will never return, neither will my boyfriend, my dream I had of the little kid it didn’t hit me till when we got home and talked about the figure he saw.

I've been down there, didn't make it very far past the railroad tracks and my then boyfriend wanted to go into the woods, we walked not even 10 steps in, and felt a creepy feeling like we weren't wanted there, we did a 180 to go back to the truck, and we were lost in the woods for an hour, like we were all turned around and out of sorts. And once we got back to the truck, it wouldn't start. I looked to my right and saw weird glowing stuff in the woods, like the things that you see at seven bridges at night in the ravines. Creepy stuff!!!

I went down there last night with a friend. We walked all the way to the end, and we went into the woods. We didn't notice anything weird, but we both felt it would be a lot creepier after dark. We saw a ton of deer on both sides. There were swarms of gnats all along the road, nothing out of the norm for around here. The place definitely has atmosphere, but next time we will go after dark. It was getting dark as we finished up, but full blown dark would be a lot more fun.
