I'm so proud this day has come. though we have a very poor fishery, trespassers have came here unnoticed, they thought. But thanks to the Four Lakes Conservation Patrol, which has four divisions according to location, have assisted law enforcement with no trespassing stings. In one week, several thousands dollars in fines were issued and the sting lead to two DUI arrests. The Local DNR is also enforcing fishing license infractions.

Hurrah Robert. Thanks for posting this. don't forget about the drug paraphenilia seized from those kids by the bridge. They told me they lived here several times. I staked them out with binoculars. Once they torched up their joint, I called the Sherriffs. The one Sherrif lives here and is part of Neighborhood Watch. The best apart about this is the kids were also busted for littering and trespassing.

Thank you robert. We have to thank the Four Lakes Conservation department for getting this rolling. I asked these kids nicely if they lived here. They lied to me. I knew they didn't, but when they lit up a joint, I called the sherrif. They were busted for underage drinking and littering as well. The garbage can was ten feet away!!! Slobs. Thank God something is finally being done.

Hey folks. We aught to have a party. Don't forget about the poachers who were busted with a cast net. How could they think to get away with this. Two conservation Men spotted and staked them out. they called the Sherrif's. I heard the boards of directors have granted the sherrifs full authority to enforce no trespass, DNR juristictions, littering and loitering. I'm a paying resident and I thank God someone is finally doing something to clean up this already beautiful community.

Hello Janice and Robert. Believe it or not, somebody had the gall to advertise no fishing license here. I called the Du page Conservation Department, who contacted the Actual DNR. They were here the next day. I heard they busted ten people. However, the residents with fishing licenses were not hassled. All of them wanted to throw a party. These are great days!!!! I'm joining the Four Lakes Conservation Department tomorrow!!!! I know they do a lot of cleanups. I want to be out there too. The guard belongs. Bill.

I don't fish, but I love to garden. I'm going to join the conservation department tomorrow. I know they do a lot of cleaning up the property. It's about time they're getting help from law enforcement. How can I apply for a branch in Neighborhood Watch? does anyone know? Lorraine, homeowner for five years.

I'm having the authories hit the Bridge area over the weekend. I passed by there with my dog and there were cars with beer bottles in plain view. Bring on the troops!!!! We want these people out of there ASAP.

hi Jackie. Were you there on monday, where a foreign man was 80 yards south of the area you spoke of? Do you have blond hair? I thought I heard you ask if he was a resident? Anyway, I hope you comment on this thread. That same man was here on April 26th and tried to smuggle out a bullhead in a potato chip bag. Believe me, we're on to him. confirm if that was you. When I called in the Lakeside South Patrol, he took his pole and scurried away. Hope to hear from you.

Hi Jackie.

Do you have blond hair and were walking your dog on monday afternoon, where a foreign man was by himself? His location was eighty yards south of where you mentioned before. The man you saw in the paddle boat was a lakeside north soldier. The man in question was here on 4/26 and attempted to steal a fish. Before the Lakeside South Patrol came, he scurried away. Please respond to this thread as soon as you read this.

Luis -

4 Lakes residents need their recreation passes in order to fish there. Not sure if they need a fishing license from the state but they're cheap so you would be best to get one to be safe. As to all the other posts in this thread, they're all bogus. It's the same guy posting under multiple names. There's no such thing as the "Four Lakes Conservation Patrol".

Are you kidding folks? You better believe there's the conservation patrol. I moved in almost a year ago and joined it. And We were on the news assisting in the rescue and cleanup. As for the fishing, you're all a bit late. This was mostly a bullhead and carp lake, like what the posts said. Now it's worse. Lots of gasoline and diesel fuel killed all the fish. Some people said it was a good lake, but those same people aren't saying it now. it's sad. A real tragedy. Yes, you need a fishing license. All lakes in Illinois require a license. For the Patrol, there even more stronger than before. I am the first one to say this, and I'm a proud member of the Lakeside South Patrol.

yes, there is a Conservation Patrol and they're really good. You do need a resident I.D to fish here. There are signs posted, and there's also Conservation Patrol districts posted. There's also Neighborhood Watch and Traffic Safety Patrol. I probably know Robert. I know several Roberts. Four Lakes is no place to screw around. This group is really large and very vigilant. They not only patrol the conservation, they're neighborhood watch people too. Some of them are really over ambitious. If you live here, have valid I.D. They won't bother you. But if you don't, don't give them any lip. You'd be surprised to see that more of them will show up. Trouble makers did get into trouble here. The previous posts were not bogus. We had problems last year and the Conservation Patrol took action. They are legalized, legit and very determined. They also are four lakes residents and some of them board members. A few Cops here are in the Neighborhood Watch Department and they back the Patol. They're all related and work together. If you live here, you're encouraged to participate. Yea, we had a bad flood and the lake's are destroyed of their fishing ability.

Hi Sandy.

I get an automatic email from every post that comes on this thread. When we're not on patrol, we guard the grounds with technology, or monitor the surveillance cameras. To Luis Salmon and others: We are Real. But we're friendly. If you live here, we need your help. The lakes here were destroyed by Diesel, Gasoline and lord knows what else. The Conservation Patrol are working on the cleanup.

Sandy: Why don't you sign up? If you live here and are protective of the property, then you qualify. I look forward to hearing a response. Robert.

Hi Robert.

I really don't know too much about conservation but I was thinking of joining the Traffic Safety Patrol. Do you know anything about them? Some of our roads are dangerous and there's too much speeding. Do you know "Meh" or Luis Salmon?

Hi Sandy.

Louis Salmon said he just moved here, so he's in the right to fish here. If "Meh" is reading this, do you live here? You can give an answer on this thread if you like. Maybe Louis Salmon can join us? Sorry about the loss of all our fish, but we need help in the cleanup. I hope Louis is reading this, so he can answer. I also hope Meh can answer whether or not he lives here. Sincerely, Robert.

Hello four lakes people. I came across another thread, where people are talking about something very important from many years ago. They are asking a question which still goes through my mind. Here is the question: Did Steve Bartman blow the game for the Cubs during the Cubs/Marlon playoffs?

As Chicago sports fans, we need to get this into perspective many years later, for who knows? This year might be the lucky year. I've been a Cubs Fan since 1983

Steve Bartman was the fan that tried to catch the foul ball and Derrick Lee yelled at him in the outfield. What do you think? Did he blow the game?
