though I would agree the weeds are becoming a problem, what this and all communities needs right now is less government, corruption, taxes and fees. If all the dead weeds were deposited at district court 52-1, I am sure they would not need a study that costs thousands, and that is not considering the payoffs and kick backs to determine they are a problem. And the idea of making annual payments of another unnecessary 300.00 per house and idiot lawmakers and police to enforce such is and should be out of the question at this time in our economy.

The city should clean it up because those that live on the lake pay more taxes. It does not require expending money for a study, just simply have the city engineer go out and look!

can the public use this lake. if not then the lake lot people need to front the money. you see people in the suburbs think they live on a lake, pay hi prices for it, and tell everyone that they are on a lake. when in reality, its just a large pond that some builder plowed everything down around it. then gives it a fancy name like oak point lake. no trees, over priced homes. then the home owners dump fertalizer and liquid weed killer on the grass. the result, fertalizer makes the weeds grow real fast, and the natural growth that chokes out the bad weeds are killed
