Woman back in Michigan after 32 years as a fugitive

A suburban housewife arrested in San Diego 32 years after she escaped from a Detroit-area prison is back in Michigan to serve out at least 5 years on drug charges. via WJR-AM Detroit

i think it's sad that this woman has to go back to prision. i think the deparment of corrections could have work out something like put her on probation and have her do some community services.
she has stay out of trouble for 32 years give her a break and also her family.

What service or good does sending her back to prison serve. It is sad and stupid. Renee is right.

I think she should go back to jail. She did the crime! Just because you walk away and live a model life, which she had to or otherwise she would of been caught and more charges, do not mean she should not do the time and time for escaping. Anyone of color would have. If our country permitted everyone one free pass jail card, our prisons would not be full.
