I think fp at least credibly communicates great technical knowledge, his delivery, while positive, his tone needs work. He's not nearly as bad as JT snow who sounds like a really depressed tom shane. Sounds like he needs therapy.
I really like Bip, he is positive, natural delivery, and has credible technical knowledge. My vote for an in game reporter would be bring in jamie syer, or someone with her skill and style, rather than just giving the job away to an unqualified sportswriter's producer wife in the back office because she's already part of the 'giants family'.

I agree, Bip and Jamie would definitely be an upgrade, too bad Bip didn't continue as a fill in for Krukow.

Now they seem to be paying for Amy to travel, I know CSBA can be a cheesy network, but wow! is Jaymee Sire not available? the telecast is killing me plus FP is saturating himself all over the Giants media, he just won't go away! why do the Giants let people like this affiliate with their organization?! unbelievable! now I have to pick my spots to avoid these two.

Amy does just fine for what they ask her to do. I just listened to Andrea Kremer, considered one of the better sideline reporters, ask Donovan McNabb,'How does it FEEL to play in your first game as a Redskin?' And to D'Angelo Hall,'Four seconds left in the first half, what were you THINKING?' Real insightful, and on a national level.

Have you grouches considered that many of the questions asked and direction taken by these reporters are orchestrated by the show's producers? Maybe Amy isn't going to break down the nuances of a late inning double switch or situational opposite field hitting. On the same token, Michelle Tafoya or Erin Andrews probably won't go into detail on cover two defenses or the single wing formation in a spread offense.

All Amy is doing is what she's supposed to do - add a little behind-the-scenes info that the analysts won't be talking about. I'm fine with that.

Well said! She adds comparison and contrast to the "grizzled gandpas" up in the broadcast booth. Her role is not to "inform" the hard-nosed hardcore fan. Her roll is to add interesting tidbits, local color, human interest along with some banter and badinage.

Kruk and Kuip already have fun with the fans and are criticized by some for doing so. I also think Amy takes herself mostly serious in spite of how her presentation comes off and lets just assume the producer/s are coming up with the questions, as mentioned before the delivery is all hers.

Amy G is no longer an issue for this year, but that brown nosing shill that is FP is killing me! that washed up frat boy is now sticking his nose on a good radio show I like, this guy needs to get a clue!

Amy's voice is SO ANNOYING and nasal and she pronounces every syllable as if she were a nursery school teacher. Look she may be nice, but that's not a qualification for being a broadcaster. 10 out of 10 on a fingers on the chalkboard scale.

Can they just replace her already?

She's back for yet another season, oh boy. I don't know what to tell you other then hit the mute button when she comes on, or listen to the radio broadcast that now has Jon Miller on weekends which is great.

regarding the comments about FP Santangelo...
Homer? Possibly. Homework? Absolutely. FP is absolutely a professional caliber broadcaster. He does his research. He is prepared. He offers opinion, insight and he does it was a steady pace and consistent flow. I am very disappointed that he is gone, but if the G's were not willing to sign him to an adequate contract he is deserving to get a better one elsewhere.

LOL. who spot was FP gonna take over?

How can a "Reputable radio broadcaster" wear a Ross is boss t-shirt, and also get a world series ring from the Giants? you toe the line and brown-nose, that's how. his show was a disgrace! now his buddy Byrnes has got the gig, same non-sense. right now is the prefect time for Lee Hammer to move Larry Kruger back to Sportsphone. anyways, if FP had actually improved some with the Nationals good for him but I don't want him back here even as a guest commentator.

One of the worst in-game reporters is Amy Gutierrez who covers the San Francisco Giants on their broadcasts. Giants' fans can't stand her and she is often ridiculed on Giants message boards. Gutierrez doesn't seem to have much knowledge of baseball and she asks the players stupid questions. She once did not know she was live yet and started to count down from five before she started to speak, and she recently gave a hug to a player after a great outing.

When will Amy G understand that her in game reporting is not about her. I watch the Giant game for baseball and don't need her to talk during the action
