Only in Marin (sorry about the cliche) not only did the suspect show curtesy by
thanking the teller after robbing them, but was provided with wholesome food
and a loving atmosphere before he was taken to 'club med' Marin.....polite
robbers and hospitable citizens. Now THAT's Marin!
Thank you

Cafe Gratitude is a weird place. The person who made the comment truly bugs me. Hi "departure"???? He was arrested for a serious crime. He is not going away on a trip somewhere. And, if the place is so loving and all the propaganda, why do they make money off the people who eat their overpriced, yuppy food? That is not a very "spiritual" practice to me. i would never eat there again. I felt like I was being recruited to join a cult.

This guy's life is over - he'll be in prison for a long, long time. No sympathy here - plenty of Federal and state laws broken, each with probable mandatory sentences. Depending on the judge, our hero could never see the outside again in his lifetime. I wonder if it crossed his mind the possibility existed?

This is the problem in america right now. We have these libtards who would if given the chance embrace bank robbers, murderers, and even terrorists.

I will NEVER go to Cafe Gratitude again and I recommend you not support a place that embraces bank robbers.

Let's look at what this libtard said, "He was a gentle, loving guy," said restaurant manager Ryland Engelhart. "The fact that he trusted this was a loving environment came into my mind. We provide unconditional love. He got to be with good food and loving people before his departure."

WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS PERSON AT CAFE GRATITUDE? CLEARLY WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT LIBTARDS IS TRUE, LIBERALISM IS A MENTAL DISORDER!

I wonder if this manager at Cafe Latitude would say this if his family was slaughtered by a serial killer?

Manifest Destiny, conservaturds, where's DUDE to defend this rampaging European?

Enjoy Marin, there are ticking Europeans poised like time-bombs all over the county ready to strike on cue... hide the children, warn the woman there is no escape.

DUDE...where are you? No prisoners, right DUDE! Total colonization, total control!

Boycott Cafe Gratitude.

Not a safe place to go given they encourage and embrace criminals to patronage their establishment.

If this guy was a rapist and who knows it may come out that he is, then take what this Manager said.

It is sick that people think this way. I agree, liberalism may in fact be a mental disorder after reading what that Manager said. And it seems that Manager would be the poster boy for it. Very sickening that people think this way or shall I say they use their heart rather than their mind.

If a liberal is a "libtard", is a republican a "retard"?

I too at first thought how silly the quote was, then I realized THAT IT WAS A CAFE GRATITUDE EMPLOYEE WHO CALLED THE COPS AND CAUGHT THIS GUY. But for that call, he may never have been caught. I am going there for dinner tomorrow night as a show of support!

You know what I think? I think you don't use your mind. Know why? You parrot Michael "Weiner" Savage, a freakin' radio entertainer who only cares about ratings.

But, I agree you should boycott the place, I'd hate to be eating dinner next to a fool like you!

In all honesty, can you really blame the guy? I'd have to rob two banks just to afford the food at Cafe Gratitude, too.

Being a liberal myself, I am starting to question why someone would say this about a violent criminal.

There are good people and bad people. This bank robber is a bad person and it seems for 10-12 years he has not learned. Prison seems like the best place for this person.

I am disturbed by why the manager would say this. He himself may need help because clearly he doesn't understand what is going on in the world.

I would say he needs to step down or be fired for saying something so odd like that. He is inviting criminals to hang out at Cafe Gratitude. That is unacceptable and being a victim of violent crime, it is not something you want to hear or see. Promoting criminals is not what society should be about.
