According to usually reliable sources, two Long Beach Elementaries are being Lauded by the Government for Being Green. Is it just coincidental that revolutionary Council is currently engaged in efforts to use "the backdoor route" of permitting their Big Pot pusher pals to establish "medicinal" pot outlets in order to "legalize" illegal pot sales in the city?
The children often confront me about the reported knuckling under to Big Government pressure by CVS to quit selling tobacco products to decent hard working overtaxed God fearing American women and men who engage in the simple worker *("middle")* class pleasure of enjoying an occasional tobacco product.
One of the children complained to me that he and his little friends are growing fat as pigs. He provided me with a link to the current CVS ad that indicates CVS may be trying to hook children on sugar highs by continuing to sell candy and sugar saturated soft drinks in their supposedly "health" oriented businesses - that, despite the OBESITY EPIDEMIC the nation is suffering from. In addition, many males try to bring women down by "fattening them up" *(so to speak)* Yet, the current CVS ad shows the company is using Valentine's day as an excuse to target men into purchasing candy for women - a KNOWN cause of obesity.
Revolutionary Council has engaged in an unremitting war of harassment against decent women and men who enjoy an occasional tobacco product. Isn't it about time to use a little hard earned taxpayer money to go after pharmacies and other businesses that are located in the city that continue to sell candy and soft drinks to children and men?

The issue has nothing to do with me. The issue is the OBESITY EPIDEMIC that is raging throughout the land, an epidemic that Big Government says is KILLING children. Why does revolutionary Council permit businesses to sell obesity related products such as candy and sugar saturated soft drinks to children and men - misogynistic men who would keep women down by fattening them up with Valentine candy?
After CVS announced it had joined Big Government's war against its decent hard working God fearing ex-customers who partake in the simple worker *("middle)* class pleasure of an occasional tobacco product, I conducted an inspection tour of the sales floor of one Long Beach CVS. I was SHOCKED to learn little children were being tempted by OPENLY DISPLAYED candy. UNLOCKED refrigeration units were stocked with SOFT DRINKS that contained large amounts of Diabetes related SUGAR.
You may find what I say hard to believe, but I assure you I am telling the truth. Correct me if I am wrong, but shouldn't Council see to it that Government licensed pharmacies are not selling obesity related products to little children and men?

Ronald, 1st-off, let me thank You for your proper capitalization in the lettering of my name.
OK, it's going to go like this, I'm going to pretend to be really mad at You, Ronald, so mad in fact that I won't talk to You, answer any questions on any threads/forum or receive calls from You until I feel the Love again.
I'm not really sorry either, that's just the way it's going to be for awhile.
Best of luck, Ronald, take care.

For the purpose of building a voting majority of minority interests, revolutionary Council accedes to the demands of every looney faction of malcontented dreamers - most of whom are supported by the taxpaying minority - and for that reason - have entirely too much time on their hands.
CVS has joined Big Government's war against its decent worker *("middle")* class former customers who enjoy the simple pleasure of an occasional tobacco product. Yet, CVS continues selling candy and sugar saturated soft drinks, openly displaying those DEADLY goods in plain view of children.
Obesity is a KNOWN cause of DEATH and poor HEALTH. If revolutionary Council is really interested in "health" - rather than just higher taxes and greater Governmental control - why don't they begin a statewide movement to require warning labels on killer candy and sugar saturated soft drinks?
We know our hard working political ruling class never rests. Once warning labels are required, they can move forward to ban KILLER candy and soft drink sales altogether.
Let us SAVE OUR CHILDREN! Write your revolutionary Council member and DEMAND it take ACTION.

This just in. Once again, revolutionary Council has been found to be "asleep at the switch".*(so to speak)*. Although Council has all the regulatory tools at its disposal, it still permits local pharmacies and other local businesses to sell candy and sugar saturated soft drinks without any warning labels being required that indicate they are a primary cause of the OBESITY EPIDEMIC that is afflicting Long Beachers, including the city's growing number of Africans.
Now it can be revealed that the Sacramento political ruling class elite are taking action to do that which revolutionary Council does not do. According to one reputable news publication:
"A bill introduced in the California senate would require warning labels for soda and give state bureaucrats the authority to inspect businesses to ensure compliance.
"Sen. Bill Monning (D.) introduced the “Sugar-Sweetened Beverage Safety Warning Act” last week in the name of “public health,” which would prohibit selling soda or any sweetened drink with 75 calories or more without a safety warning.
“When the science is this conclusive, the State of California has a responsibility to take steps to protect consumers...as with tobacco and alcohol warnings."
"Monning’s office said the bill is necessary for California’s “communities of color.”
“The health implications are felt most acutely by California’s communities of color, which are the largest consumers of these sugary drinks,” a press release said.
