<quoted text> It stated that Chrysler/Jeep was moving all jeep production to China which is WRONG. They are setting up a separate manufacturing in China for models to be sold in China and not the US. Given that Romney was implying that the auto workers were going to lose their jobs when in fact they were not, that makes the difference. Romney lied.
Where do they currently manufacture the Jeeps that are sold in China?

They make them in the USA.

Will they still need to make Jeeps in the USA for the Chinese market?

Why do people like you always add two plus two and come up with five?

A worker who grosses $50,000 a year will take home $1,000 less.

Now..........If that worker is married and the wife is a stay home Mom with one child he gets back that $1,000.00 plus another $450.00 for spouse and child deduction for a grand total of $1450. Look at your 1040 form.

Consider it a small savings plan. Dont count interest, which is almost at zero with your savings account or CD's in a years time.

No, unfortunately.
Social Security is a tax, not a contribution. Paying the tax funds current benefits and does not give the payer any right to any future benefits.
Federal Insurance Contributions Act (FICA) is a contribution and a tax.

Once Fiat finds that they can make Jeeps at lower cost in China, they will begin exporting Jeeps to the US.

No, just a tax.

You have no account and no vested interest.

Congress could cancel the program tomorrow.

Quote from Factcheck.org :
Mitt Romney falsely claimed in a recent speech that “Jeep, now owned by the Italians, is thinking of moving all production to China.” Chrysler says it is considering adding Jeep production sites in China to address rising demand in that market. But the company says it is “a leap that would be difficult even for professional circus acrobats” to suggest that it would close U.S. facilities and move all operations to China.

Despite Chrysler’s admonition, Romney is now making a similar claim in a new TV ad.

The ad says,“Obama took GM and Chrysler into bankruptcy and sold Chrysler to Italians who are going to build Jeeps in China. Mitt Romney will fight for every American job.” It’s misleading to suggest that Chrysler’s decision to expand into China will cost U.S. jobs — especially after the company has said it would have no impact on its U.S. operations.

<quoted text>I read a TIME article covering an interview with the then governor Bush. Something in his words made me say out loud, "This man intends to bankrupt the country." So two wars, Medicare Part D, and huge tax cuts to the wealthy later, the enormous forces of wealth and power are poised to completely dismantle the middle class and crush the sense of social obligation. "Mission Accomplished" for Georgie.
I'm always amazed how willing many of my fellow citizens are ready to act like lemmings and go over the cliff. Or maybe a better comparison is national suicide in the name of trickle down economics.
The rich have been doing it to the poor and the middle class for centuries yet the imbeciles in the majority of the population are still willing to lie legs open and listen to TV commercials of the rich pigs instead of halting the bath of selfishness and racism that the demons give them every day. Damn, America!! Have some self-respect!! Turn off your TVs when your pimp Rethuglicans come on! Stop watching Fox News upside down between your legs!! Nothing will change until the prostituted people stop bending over for the rich, obtain some measure of dignity, think critically about who is really screwing them and send them to hell at the next election.
Socialism and communism don't work for the people. Study your history and forget about blaming Republicans and Fox News. History will show you where we are heading, and heading there fast.

Cut and Paste is the norm on this forum. It has been since Dan the Man and his other ID's decided so. It is no longer necessary to post a link or source. Dan the Man determined a long time ago that quoting with ---------- is sufficient.

You need to read up. I'm sure you're not a troll and just singling out one person.

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Aquarius

Someone is confused and muddled today, making it difficult to talk for long without becoming equally bemused. Avoid making decisions or researching important information, because there's a strong possibility of getting crossed wires, or talking at cross purposes. A memory may also be distorted now, leading to mix-ups or bewilderment.
