PUPPY MILL ANIMAL ABUSE
DID YOU KNOW MANY DOGS AT PUPPY MILLS:
• Are kept in wire cages for their entire lives...some have never
touched solid ground or grass to play
• Lose feet and legs when they are caught in the wire floors of the
cages and cut off as the dog struggles to free themselves.
• Become “insane” from being imprisoned in a small cage. They
develop repetitive habits like circling for hours or barking at walls.
• Lacked medical treatment. Some are forced to breed with Hernias,
broken legs, are infested with fleas, ticks, mange, heartworms, have
no teeth (due to dental diseases), loss of muscle in their legs and can
not stand up due to lack of exercise, etc.
• Are starving due to lack of food and clean water.
• Live in filth in cages that have not been cleaned.
• Some “cook” on the wires in the summer and freeze on them in the
Winter.
Puppy mills sell these dogs to Pet Stores. Say NO to
this horrific animal abuse by not buying puppies
from pet shops and puppy mills.
Adopt dogs from local shelters or rescue groups. There
are many purebreds and puppies in shelters and rescue
groups. Most shelters show pictures of adoptable dogs on
their website.

If you see or suspect animal abuse,
call to report it immediately!
