(Genesis 1:28) Further, God blessed them and God said to them:“Be fruitful and become many and fill the earth and subdue it, and have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and every living creature that is moving upon the earth.”

So Adam andEve were to have children and cultivate the earth and make it a paradise. Psalm 104:5 states clearly that the earth will never be destroyed. It reads: "He has founded the earth upon its established places; It will not be made to totter to time indefinite, or forever."
