This morning I went to get my free oil change (pre-paid) and saw that the dealership was close (out of business). When I bought my new Ford Explore in 2005 I purchased the service package because of the no charge oil change offer. This offer was good as long as I owned my Ford and went to Board Ford for the service. Today I feel cheated by Ford! I went to another Ford dealership in hopes they would honor the oil change agreement and they would not. This left an even more sour feeling about Ford. Will I ever purchase a new Ford, highly unlikely!

I purchased a 2003 ford mustang from this dealership and was sad to discover that Board Ford is no longer in business. Good thing I held back from buying another ford vehicle. Ford company is really going down fast by not supporting and standing by faithful customers. Toyota is now second in charge. Ford is in my opinon doomed. And eventually will fade by not showing concern for customer's who patronized Board Ford Dealership. Will look at Toyota now!

I have been a Board Ford customer for years and things had gotten worse over the years, i took my truck to Burch Ford in La Habra and it was a pleasant surprise! Its not a big fancy store but the people treat you like part of the family and the prices are fair and great work was done, they have all my bussiness from now on---Thanks Burch Ford!!!

It's amazing tome that people are up in arms over having to spend $24.00 for an oil change, how about the 100 plus employees that lost their jobs just before Christmas? That is SAD, open up your wallets and spend some money, you roaches only care about the "free" oil change, that was a Board Ford deal and had NOTHING to do with Ford Motor Company, the average vehicle owner are complete idiots, who want as much as they can get without paying for it.

I want my FREE oil changes too, that WAS the only promise the sales department ever kept.. Now that is gone too. I feel bad for the service people, but the sales people.. not so much.. The owner, hope it broke his heart, he was the biggest jerk.

Board Ford scumbags

Um, have you looked up Board Ford on bbb.org , the Better Business Bureau website? "F" folks, the worst grade there is. These guys were scumbags, and if you bought from them, you bought from scumbags. Hey, maybe they happened to give you some good service, but they were scumbags. Good riddance, and sorry to the customers who got screwed.

Still laughing, Mr. Dixon sold the dealership back to Ford Motor Company some months before it closed, so sorry, he did not "go down", but what did go down are the free oil changes, too bad roaches, gotta spend some money now. From what I could tell Board had a lot of really good customers, I never had any issues with them.

The guys that work there in the office and in the shop were cool, even Mr. Dixon's son was nice but the sales manager there (australian guy) was the biggest a**hole. No wonder they would not sell cars. I was a returning customer looking to buy 2 cars and he basically ran me out of there. When I got my first car from them the sales guys told him to F off and leave his customers alone. Go to Ken Grody instead.

After 40 years of service there had to be a huge cultural change in the day to day operationa and dealership's philosophy. If Ford is truly interested in preventing this from happening again they might want to do some homework.

All manufacturers have good dealers and bad dealers. I have experienced good Ford Dealers and bad ones as well as bad Chevy dealers and so so Dodge dealers. People are people some good and some not. I had no dealings with Board Ford but expect they were not much different than the rest.
